I heard complaints that AIM for iPhone is not stable and crashes a lot. It didn't happen to me (yet). The app is barebones and I kinda liked that. There isn't even a smiley button. When you close the app, you stay connected in the background but you don't get notifications (this is by design, as iPhone doen't allow background processes - that's a good thing but this is one of its downsides). When you reopen the app you are connected and you get the missing messages (hopefully). This is not perfect by all means but a great start for a native IM app on the iPhone. Let's hope the others (Google, Yahoo, Jabber) will get on board soon.

La verdad no puedo abrirlo con mi cuenta aol termina com .com.mx Pero no se si lo doy en aim Mobileme o mac pero si le doy en Aim no pasa nada me dice que estoy desconectado... Porfa ayudenme y no me la rayen porfa....

Funguje pěkně, i když občas se u kontaktů nenačtou jména a zobrazují se pouze čísla... Push notifikace fungují parádně, takže spokojenost. Škoda jen, že v této verzy nejde psát v landscape módu...

Great piece of software. Very well programmed. no glitches known to me yet. Everything you would want in an AIM Messenger. The only thing it doesn't have is Voice Chat which would be nice. Sometimes recieving messages causes a bit of lag, but thats just like every other messenger. I think this is definetly the best messenger out there. If only it supported other users than americans! I need COL for Canda :) CIM. haha. Great Job Guys!

Программа не работает.Проблема та же, что и в ICQ:если вводить номер icq без чёрточек, программа пишет - неправильный номер или пароль.Если номер вводится с чёрточками - программа пытается подключиться, после чего пишет: Signed off - Tap to ReconnectСколько не делаешь Tap, Reconnect не происходит.

Works well when open, but not at all when it's running in the background. You are only notified of new messages when AIM is actually running, which is a real shame! Assign a numbered dot like email/SMS/App updates, and it'd be golden. Till then, don't bother with it.

but now it has inexplicably decided I have no connection to the internet, even though other apps are working over both 3G and wifi, and I can't change its mind. I'm dropping it for another internet messenger widget, because when I can chat over AIM it's cheaper than calling or texting. Too bad!
