This is the best application I have seen for the iPhone. Period! It looks just like a miniature Bloomberg terminal with (almost) real time pricing on indexes, stocks, bonds, currencies and commodities. It includes an (almost) real time news service, with user selectable feeds. The portfolio feature is very helpful, allowing you to track and plot prices, and monitor newsflow almost on the fly. Better still, the stocks in the portfolio are linked directly to Bloomberg news feeds, for up to date developments when you're away from the desk. There's even access to charts plotting intra-day pricing! The application also feels rock solid stable when linked to a wifi network, although I haven't had the chance to test it out completely on 3G. It looks good working on the iPhone, and feels right at home running on the black touchscreen. An absolute must have. Unbelievable considering it's free!

This app exceeds the standard Stocks app supplied on the iPhone. The only problem I have had with it is that it stopped functioning properly (started but then went back to the app window) so it may be a problem with the iPhone firmware and not the app. I reinstalled the app, but lost all my previously selected stocks. I'm surprise that the profile is/was not backed-up. In a future version it would be great to have the option of monitoring futures prices as well as create more than one portfolio.

GOODEasy to use interface.Turning to landscape orientation automatically shows the graph of the currently selected stock.Related news and company information.BADScale includes 1 day, then 1 month, 6 months, etc. It would be nice to have a 5-day interval.No after-hours data.X and Y scale zooms in and out together, so if I zoom in for a smaller time scale (x), the value scale (y) goes off the screen. Each scale should be adjustable separately.

Was very Suprised when I used this during the market hours today. Excellent and to the point. Unique interface design too. Fix the few little crash bugs and this is golden. Also the use of touch on an interactive chart would be great!

Great App. pocket "headlines". however, it could use some additional features. New years wishes: please add central bank rates and trend graphs under "markets" indicators, also the ability to reorganize list ranks, or a "my favorites" tab with ability to add preferred indices.

Canada - Friendly

This app is an excellent replacement for the default Stocks app and best of all it's free. It's great that the TSX is included in the indices listing and finding my Canadian stocks and funds is a snap. This app should only get better with future iterations.

As good an app as you're likely to get, regardless of cost. And it's free! full featured stock and Market information, relevent and compelling news, an efficient 'my stocks' feature and last, but certainly not least as this is part of the whole iPhone model: an intuitive, attractive and logical interface. Highly recommended.

I'm impressed to see that Bloomberg has access to my Canadian funds, so I suppose that's more of a Kudo to Bloomberg. The App itself is eye candy. Looks very pretty, and seems to work well, but it's a little unintuitive and needs more navigation and less text. If you're patient, you'll like this app. If you're impatient, you probably won't but it's free, so no harm in downloading.
