This is a terrific and useful app. The ability to view listings, trailers etc is superb. One request though is there any way to work with the big chains to book tickets as well? The ability to book tickets and better integration with maps would make this a 5 star.

.....it claims my local cinema is showing Quantm of Salace which doesn't get released until next month. There are lots of excellent features ok this app but my confidence on the information provided has been knocked.

I wouldn't be upset paying for this either. I don't normally write reviews but I feel that I would make an exception for this. Simply outstanding ~ the best application I've downloaded since having this phone for 3 months! I feel that I will not be deleting this in two days time like many other applications. Great work!

Seriously! Very easy to navigate, gives you great reviews to help choose a flick from flixster/facebook users or Rotten Tomatoes, movie trailers and did I mention its easy to use?Bottom line: less clicks to see what I need and even get involved with Facebook integration.

UK Database Needs Improvement

The app itself seems fine, but there's some database issues. It's deeply mysterious to me why my local cinemas should be listed correctly on the Flixster website, yet incorrectly on the database used by the app. The Movies app lists my local cinema as the Cheltenham Odeon, which has been closed for over a year and so has no listings, and does not list the Cineworld cinema in the Old Brewery which has been open for two years. Yet the Cineworld shows up on the website, but not the Odeon. Sort it out, Flixster!
