Reviews:
Great weather app By: MeDiAgNoMe - Dec 12, 2008 Version: 1.4 Excellent source for all of your weather needs. I really enjoy the full screen animated weather map. Must have for anyone who needs to know what the weather is going to do.
Forecasts not accurate By: Dux - Dec 12, 2008 Version: 1.1 Forecast data is not accurate compared to accuweather and weather channel.
Its Ok By: mnj1233 - Dec 8, 2008 Version: 1.1 First radar loop on my phone. That said I like it. Little dissappointed in the clarity. Paid $9.99 as opposed to $15.00 so I feel I got what I paid for. GPS integration is nice but Ive come to expect this feature in any app that is location sensitive. If your writing an app for a GPS device you better integrate it or dont waste your time. The former reviews persuaded me to purchase so thanks to all that contributed.
Great app...use to be anyway By: englishmuffins - Dec 7, 2008 Version: 1.1 At first I was a little unsure if this app was worth $15. I didn't really like WeatherBug and weather app that comes on the iPhone isn't too bad either. I just wanted something with radar and a little bit more detailed forecast. I also tried Fizz Weather, I liked it at first but the wind speed was always wrong and I just didn't like that there was 8 weather stations reporting for one location. So I finally took the plunge and bought this app. I like it, and for the most part it's accurate. The extended forecast is almost always right. I've seen people right that it’s not accurate, but hey it’s a forecast. Not even The Weather Channel predicts the right thing. And I really love the radar and the location feature. It's always found my location wherever I'm at. The only thing I'd like to see is a very detailed 36 hour forecast. And for some reason, as other reported the night icons don't display. It's not a big problem, but it’s funny when its 10 pm and it’s sunny. So hopefully they fix it. Other than that I wouldn't any other weather app but this one.
UPDATE: I use to like this app. But it was just too slow for me. Maybe if it was sped up a little bit I might go back to using it. So far I love The Weather Chanel app. But I just stick to the native weather app. I cannot believe I paid $14 for this. Now it's $9.99! I really want my money back. But the greedy company probably won't give it back!!!!
Okay... By: JimmyJoMoFo - Dec 5, 2008 Version: 1.1 MyWeather is okay, but it should have a lot more features and details for its price. I kind of wish I didn't buy this application after all.
Update: I really wish I had not bought this app now. I continue to have a lot of problems with it. I have deleted it and use the Weather Channel app now, which is much better and free.
Ok By: ms.piala - Dec 3, 2008 Version: 1.1 Give us alerts, I want only one weather app so Fizz still has me until you give alerts otherwise good looking app
No better than what came with my 3G By: TrueReviewer - Nov 28, 2008 Version: 1.1 Enough said. It is fine, but not any better than what came with the phone.
Very cool, but pricey By: Mustangxxx - Nov 28, 2008 Version: 1.1 Overall comprehensive information, but pricey. Would like severe weather alerts incorporated for better value.
ACCURACY....? By: laorosa - Nov 24, 2008 Version: 1.1 So i'm looking out the window right now and it is raining pretty hard. the App says it is raining in the Forecast section, which is correct. But in the Trend section under Percipitation it says ZERO Percipitation All day....!!??Please update this because if i relied upon this App when i have Real plans, it could really be a let down....Otherwise this is a great Weather AppThank You.
Awsome By: Wolfewl - Nov 23, 2008 Version: 1.5 Pretty cool.
Good features but slow. By: touch of class - Nov 22, 2008 Version: 1.1 It does everything I need, but it's too slow.
Not worth the money... By: Sunflare98 - Nov 21, 2008 Version: 1.1 An easily accessible weather radar is a good concept but executed poorly. Trying to zoom the map takes you into a foreign country... It starts off showing half the US and 10 minutes later you've finally zoomed to your city. Extended forecast is about the only useful thing, but that's easier to access at weather.com and much more attractive..
Radar is best feature By: Caldwellone - Nov 15, 2008 Version: 1.1 This app is good for one thing... The radar. My major complaints are that the trend is rarely accurate an the forcast portion is weak. I was an early adapter of this program and paid 14.99 for it. As soon as weather channel or weather bug come out with a radar map with motion, this app will be deleted from my phone.
Great By: Mark921 - Nov 13, 2008 Version: 1.1 This is the best app I use it way more than the iPhone weather and it is very accurate so stop your complaining and all the people that are complaining you got owned by the creater
Good Concepts, Poor Implementation By: Drewt7 - Nov 12, 2008 Version: 1.1 I purchased this app (which is in the upper price range of weather apps) because I wanted a much better weather app than comes with the iPhone. The concepts advertized were attractive: nice graphs, radar, custom naming of locations, reporting on "my location," are all nice ideas. But the implementation is lacking. It suffers from terrible slowness (even on 3G and WiFi, so if you want to quickly check the weather where you're headed, it's not worth the wait. The radar is rarely useful as once it loads the app almost always crashes. Also lacking is weather from cities other than the U.S. I suspect the developers are using data feeds from a source other than the native iPhone weather app. Bottom line: The developers tried to cram too many features into too slow an implementation. My advice is to seek out more targeted weather applications that do just what you need. They likely will respond more quickly, and cost less money. -- Version 1.1
Cities By: BluegrassState - Nov 11, 2008 Version: 1.1 Nice but I would like to change the cities in the list. It won't let me.
Good but...... By: Ben1996 - Nov 8, 2008 Version: 1.1 Needs international cities
Good interface and information By: rcMike2 - Nov 7, 2008 Version: 1.1 While not inexpensive, this weather app is my favorite so far. It is also one of the only apps that shows a wind forecast. I would love to see an extended forecast (more than 1 day out) for both wind and temperature in a future release.
It's Good By: so lucky - Nov 4, 2008 Version: 1.1 At first I had a lot of trouble - many of the features didn't work and it crashed repeatedly. But then I did the whole "sync, then turn phone off and on" thing - and now it's good!1. Nice to look at.2. Pretty accurate!3. Good selection of cities (I was hesitant to buy, thinking some of the areas I wanted to see would be too obscure - but they're ALL there.)4. And the GPS locator works perfectly - great when you're travelling.5. Love the 36 hour hourly forecast (they call it "trend.")5. The radar! It's very cool to look at - the whole US at a glance, or zoom in wherever you want - excellent.Actually, I have no complaints. Yeah, it's a little slow - but I've found that with all my apps - if you want a ton of features, you sacrifice some speed. The price is a little high - but I'm glad I got it.
Great Interface / Temperatures Way Wrong Though By: RoxyOtis - Nov 4, 2008 Version: 1.1 I purchased this program for my iphone about a week ago and love the interface. I love the interface of this program, but I find it totally useless to me since the temperatures are way off. I live in Southern California and the temperatures in myweather are consistently about 7-10 degrees below every other source on the internet, and the other sources much more accurately reflect actual temperatures. I e-mailed this concerned to the owner of this application about a month ago with no response so I decided to post a negative review.
Best weather app! By: Green eggs - Nov 3, 2008 Version: 1.1 MyWeather is by far the best weather app and I've tried them all.
