Best weather app! By: Green eggs - Nov 3, 2008 Version: 1.1 MyWeather is by far the best weather app and I've tried them all.
Best Overall Weather App Available By: coleym - Nov 3, 2008 Version: 1.1 Great app overall! Combined forecast, radar (animated is great), and the "trend" options really tell you everything you need to know for the day. With the latest update, there were a lot of improvements made, the best of which is the ability to view animated radar in full-screen mode. I have used this app during a storm, and it’s honestly helped to save my life. It’s a great comfort to know that I have all this information at my fingertips.
Best weather app. Period. By: MisterRedlegs - Nov 3, 2008 Version: 1.1 I've tried most weather apps for the iphone and this one is the best. The full screen animated radar is awesome, and the trend graphs are cool as well.
Location-based, as it should be By: cclauset - Nov 2, 2008 Version: 1.4 MyWeather was a splurge for me in the realm of iPhone apps, but I find it to be the app to which I refer most often, and one that I wish were available as a widget on my Mac. The one thing that I would like to see is for it to cache the weather data to allow offline access.
Good app By: sebibis - Oct 31, 2008 Version: 1.1 I like this app better than the other weather apps on here. The moving radar is a nice touch. I have found that the forecast numbers change all the time. One minute it will be 80 tomorrow, the next minute it is going to be 70. I would like there to be severe weather alerts. I also like the live weather cams like on weatherbug. Other than that, I like this a lot.
Love it By: OoLookaKitty - Oct 30, 2008 Version: 1.1 I absolutely love this application. I'm a weather buff and this is one of my favorite apps. The animated radar is where I spend most of my time in this application. Even at the higher price I paid of 14.99, well worth it.
Nicely Designed but Wildly Inaccurate By: NCM-Indiana - Oct 27, 2008 Version: 1.1 I'm not sure where MyWeather gets its weather information, but based on my experience last weekend it's wildly inaccurate compared both to Apple's default Weather app and to the local TV where I was. With a good WiFi connection there was no problem getting MyWeather updates, but they were flat-out wrong, and everyone else was right. It's a nicely designed little mobile app, and other than the very poor resolution radar map is pleasant to use, but if the information isn't good then none of that matters. Garbage in, garbage out...
Excellent Weather App. By: Dave2112 - Oct 27, 2008 Version: 1.1 This weather app. is by far the best. The radar is very useful and the interface is intuitive and easy to use. It would be nice to see:Weather AlertsMore accurate forecasts (The temperature is usually a few degrees off from the actual temperature, but it is still accurate in my opinion). Overall, it is much better than the standard weather app and weather bug- (even though weather bug does have alerts).
Get fizz weather cheaper and better By: BladengutZ - Oct 27, 2008 Version: 1.1 Ok but too high a price get fizz weather you won't be sorry
MyWeather VS Fizz Weather: The winner is... By: Daisy Jane (DJ) - Oct 26, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 In the USA this app is amazing, however I can't get it to work here in Australia. For us international travellers, Fizz weather at a fraction of the cost is far superior. Sorry guys!
Nice features, unreliable forecast By: skaploy - Oct 23, 2008 Version: 1.1 While the features are nice and the radar is cool, the forecast rarely matches my local weather forecast and the rotate feature doesn't always work. I have been comparing the forecast shown on MyWeather mobile to my local news channel forecasts, WeatherBug, Accuweather.com and Apple's built-in weather widget. Where all comparison products were within a few degrees of one another, the MyWeather forecast has been off by as much as 20 degrees or more! I hope that an update will provide better forecast accuracy - back to the built-in weather widget for now.

Was a skeptic, now a fan. By: LR2_ - Oct 23, 2008 Version: 1.1 I was very skeptical of the worthiness of this app's high price. So far I've been using it for about a week and it has really grown on me. At first I thought it was overpriced, but once I figured out that some menus expand via the 'tilt the device sideways thing' the app won me over. At first I wished the map was larger and that the trends forcasted futher into the future, but that was before. If you are a weather junkie and like to know what temperature it will be at a given time, how much rain is expected, and like the idea of an animated radar on your iphone I highly recommend this app. This app loses 1 star from me because I think it'd be better priced at $7.99 (a little more than half of the regular price). For $15 and even $10 it's a bit of a stretch. I've seen much more impresive apps for much lower the cost.
Nice application, fast info and to the point By: wide range - Oct 22, 2008 Version: 1.1 I like the Mac like interface. For those of us that like the iPhone and its Mac like user ease, this is the program you want. The interface is obvious and easy to use. The data is correct and the program has never crashed. The graphics are very slick. Honestly when i am showing off my iPhone, this is the app I use to show them how cool the iPhone is.On the technical end of things, the 36 hour forecast rocks. The precipitation and temperature forecast for 36 hours is great for those of us with convertibles... this way i know exactly when it will get cold and instead of "showers coming" I know when they are coming.Expensive? Yes! But worth the price... let's face it we all bought iPhones, so we aren't exactly poor. This one is worth getting if you care about an accurate weather forecast.Best weather app on the store.
Should work better for 10 bucks By: SJ5150 - Oct 21, 2008 Version: 1.1 Get this one for the radar loop, but be ready to get frustrated to find that the data server is very slow to respond if it responds at all. The app is getting worse - not better.
Best weather app out there By: VictorMIA - Oct 19, 2008 Version: 1.1 I love this weather app but it needs improvements. The temperature is not the most accurate. For my area, Miami, it reports the temperature about two or three degrees less than the other apps and the local news.
The radar work well, it identifies where you are with an orange dot, and you can soom in down to street view. The only thing that this needs is time stamp. You don't really know if the rain passed you or if it's about to.
Weather alerts would be great, but they need to disappear as soon as they expire. Fizz Weather and the Weather Bug keep showing them for days.
One nice feature the Weather Bug app has is that it shows recent local weather pics throughout your city. This is great when you live on an area where you get hurricanes.
Solid weather app By: Trojahnmann - Oct 17, 2008 Version: 1.1 If your thinking about getting a weather app this is the one. Only reason it gets 4 out of 5 is because of could use watches/warnings and satellite maps. Radar is nuts tho Full Screen via microsoft virtual earth.
Best Available By: Dadof2Girls - Oct 16, 2008 Version: 1.1 This is the best weather application available at this time.
not2happy By: snitro - Oct 15, 2008 Version: 1.1 I was so excited to purchase this application until I started using it. The reason why I got it was because when it starts to rain in my area the satelite dish goes off and I can't tell whether there is a storm or tornado coming towards us. We live in a tornadic area and my children get terrified of the bad weather. I thought it would be worth the money to be able to see where a storm was heading but nowit wasn't worth my money. I really wish I could get my money back from this application. iTunes couldn't you have trial applications to see if it would work in our area and this applies to all applications not just weather applications. I do regret purchasing this product, not a happy customer :-( The reason why I gave this two stars was because it at least it allows more than one city...but again doesn't allow international areas. It would have been nice to see what the weather is like in Iraq where my husband is deployed.
K-9 Handler By: Bloodhound Focus - Oct 14, 2008 Version: 1.1 Very nice program. It's like having a TV weather reporter in your pocket. Just got the application so don't know how weather alerts are handled. The animated radar is fantastic. Was on a K-9 search for a missing person in the middle of the night this weekend and found the application very useful!
Ok radar, poor forecast By: Benaodo - Oct 14, 2008 Version: 1.1 The anamated radar is decent but the time to load the weather forecast even on 3G is way to long and so far has yet to be even within 10 degrees of actual local forecast. Overall not bad for what's out there.
Worth money By: Nick in Arkansas - Oct 13, 2008 Version: 1.5 I'd say this is worth the money. If it weren't for the reviews I wouldn't have purchased this.
I really like some things on here but what I am going to talk about are the negative things or things that need improvement to help me better understand the program and to let the company know how they can improve.
First thing is the time it takes on edge to download the weather data. And also on wifi or edge the time it takes to scroll around the radar. That would be alot nicer if that was sped up. I wish that I could go to the details of the forcast of a day other than the current day. That's all I can think of now and all i've found that could be a good update.
I may revise this later on depending on how the updates go in the future. Would have gave it a five star if it weren't for the slow speeds on the data.
