I'd say this is worth the money. If it weren't for the reviews I wouldn't have purchased this. I really like some things on here but what I am going to talk about are the negative things or things that need improvement to help me better understand the program and to let the company know how they can improve. First thing is the time it takes on edge to download the weather data. And also on wifi or edge the time it takes to scroll around the radar. That would be alot nicer if that was sped up. I wish that I could go to the details of the forcast of a day other than the current day. That's all I can think of now and all i've found that could be a good update. I may revise this later on depending on how the updates go in the future. Would have gave it a five star if it weren't for the slow speeds on the data.

I love the interface, the graphics, the 7 day forcast, the information, and the ease of use. The My Location works well even on first gen iPhone! A bit too well. Perhaps it picked me up from my contacts. What I don't like is when the Radar is trying to load, you can't click off it to another function without first loading the Radar maps. Say from Radar to Forecast. If there are no additional overlays, the switch is farst, but when there are, the switch is slow. Or when moving the map around is slow. Yes, annoyingly picky!What I would like to see is Alerts. This is a great app with lots of attention to details. MyWeather is ONLY going to get better and is well worth the money! (._.)

October 11, 2008 -- Version 1.1: The best things about this app are the radar and the 36 hour trend, especially in landscape mode. I bought this app for those features, but mainly because of the mostly strong positive reviews in general. However, the weather module that is part of Pocket Express has it beat in all other respects. I'm not sure that motion radar and a 36 hour graph in landscape mode are worth the $10, but those are the only two advantages I see over Pocket Express -- so you be the judge on that one. I was hoping the rest of the app would be equivalent to or better than Pocket Express but it's not, so I feel like I didn't get enough for my $10. However, my four star rating is strictly on the app which is very nice. It would be great to tap on a day's forecast and drill down for more detail. It would also be great if, in trend graph view, more than one weather pic would appear above the graph -- one pic for morning, one for afternoon, one for evening, one for night, etc. This feature would allow you to see at glance when it might rain for example or when clouds will be breaking-- this is a feature in Pocket Express.

Still needs a tweak or two

Overall this app is very attractive and easy to navigate. The fullscreen radar is one of the most appealing features, as well as the weather trends. My main complaint and disappointment is that it is sunny 24 hours/day. The forecast will actually say "Tonight: Sunny." As this is not an inexpensive app, it seems like it would be an easy fix to show the moon at night on the home screen. Chance of rain would be a nice addition too.

The graphics are great. The functionality is great. But it seems to have difficulty finding my location, whether on WiFi or EDGE. Therefore, it eats up my battery, literally in a few short hours, even with the phone off. I've had to remove it. Hopefully an update will fix this bug.

Had a few problems at first getting the preferences to work, but they spontaneously fixed themselves and now it works great. (Had a prompt response from the developer to my email when I had a question, too.) I love the rainfal meter in particular -- that info is hard to find even on the web.

This is what a weather app should be. The radar is able to zoom to street level and fills the whole screen when you turn it horizontal. The hourly forecast is in depth and easy to navigate. It also loads the weather wherever your at using the GPS capabilities. Well worth the money and has every type of weather data you could ask for. A+

After reading reviews of the app I decided to purchase it. Not disappointed at all. I am glad to hear that they will be adding lookup by zip code soon too! For those that need to keep a close eye on weather for outdoor event's or just like to have updated weather at their disposal, this is the app for you!

When you try to turn to full mode it takes too long. Before update the full satilite view was much quicker. Please fix.

MyWeather Mobile certainly is one of the best apps I've added to my first gen iPhone and without question the best that I've paid for. The radar images are crisp and clear with animations. The full screen mode is great for getting detailed information on approaching weather/radar. I work outside with very expensive video equipment so knowing when and where it is raining is a major load off my mind. My only knock against this app is I would like to be able to have more detailed forecasts such as wind direction and speed plus the percentage of a chance of precipitation on the 5 day forecast.

Major flaw.... Can't check to see if location for "my weather" is right....I have 1st gen phone and location feature sometimes is way off ( but sometimes right) not only can't I change it by putting in a zip.... But I don't even know if it is in the right area.... Too broad an area in radar to be sure if is pinpointing where I live

Excellent app that could still use a little more time in the oven.

Great app - better than the other weather apps I've tried - but a few flaws remain. The forecast for Tonight is: Sunny??? Interesting. And the current condition is Sunny and Clear? At 11:40 PM? The trend graph accurately shows the sky conditions for nighttime - not sure why the forecast and the main status screen can't do the same. Even Apple's wimpy Weather app manages to get this detail right. And Friday's forecast says "Chance of" and that's it. Like the third line of text is cut off. Not helpful.I'd love to see sunrise/sunset times, as well as moon phases. And the radar doesn't seem to offer as much detail regarding intensity of rainfall/snowfall as WeatherBug does. Also, how about chance of precipitation rates?All those quibbles aside, this is an impressive (and beautiful) app that I hope will continue to get better with future updates. For the money, I'm expecting a little more polish.

Annoying Location Service Warning....Over Priced!!!!

Is there way to turn off Location Service warning or perminently accept it? I think it should be a feature to turn on and off. Some time, I just don't care for the weather in my current location and the fact that it warns me in the beginning is annoying. I hate that I can't try the app and I spend $10 to find out you have these annoying Location warnings. I am really disappointed with the purchase for lack of limited option. Also, it always defaults to MyWeather which is co-dependant on GPS being on. I should have the option of what I want to see first. It just have one two many click to get to where and waht you want. I bet the warning is a default iPhone warning. Damn the iPhone for stupid warning. It should be a one time click for yeh or neh. Not an everytime I open an app to tell me something trivial as using Location Service, Duh Apple.!!!!!!

Thanks for adding the Dew Point. This weather application gives tons of information, trending by hour, dew point, radar in motion and more. Store your favorite cities plus let it give you the weather at your current location using your gps. This beats the other apps including weatherbug and the weather app installed on the iphone.

As a professional pilot, I find this app to be a wonderful resource for flight planning. Add satellite weather maps and it will definitely rate 5 stars in my book.

I have to tip my hat to the developers for their updated release. Love the big, fat full-screen charts! Really helps me when I plan my car trips to see the percipatation forecast beautifully laid out for the next 36-Hours; wonderful to be able to plan a trip around the rain and not driving in it! I read were they are coming out with an International application -- it'll be like Christmas for me when they release it!Great Work!!
