This is an updated review. So far, 2.0 version seems a lot more accurate and just a little bit faster too. The verdict is till out though.

If you're a skier, some locations aren't even available for lookup. For others, the report may be for the nearest major reporting station. For example the report for Crested Butte, CO isn't even close to accurate. That weather report is a generalized forecast for Gunnison (30 miles away), and reports as "Gunnison County." The same is true for Telluride, where the information shown is for Montrose (also 30 miles away). Steamboat Springs is actually the report for Hayden / Yampa. If you're a powder hound, this isn't the app for you.This app used to look slick, purposeful and streamlined. The latest update brings graphical elements that look clunky, amateurish and ruin the experience. It now has the look of a freebie, not a $5 app. What a tragedy.

The best thing about this app, and the only reason I use it is for the map. Otherwise, outside the next day, it is always wrong. And by a lot.

This App is alright but what it need it a hours charts. A other extra radars like lighting radar or hail radar or other radar.But this has the best radar around.New update need to be fix some things I don't like like when I open it pops up things I wish only will pop up only onces. But over all 4/5 price should be also 3.00 bucks!

I just updated to the 2.0 version. -Its just as slow and the previous versions.-Maps are slow, MyWeather could use some help from the WixFix mobile guys. There map is fast and accurate as no other app can come close to it.-How do I work with the push notifications? There are no preference panes to customize, so what do i get with it?-Make the forecast viewable in the landscape mode.-Get Google maps, team with WixFix and make an app to rule them all! (MyWeather UI, and WixFix maps, speed, and performance)Good Luck!

When I purchased the program it gaveThe weather where I was. Hence Mobile weather. Then they get rid of that feature. Radar not so hot either.

Love the app! Thanks for adding International cities! BUT, why can't I access it off-line anymore? I own the iTouch, not the iPhone and off-line access is important. I used to refer back to what I downloaded when I wasn't near wi-fi. Please fix this so that it was like before. Thanks!

I can't believe I paid 5 bucks for this app to tell my the wrong weather. Lame!!! The weather app that comes with the iPhone does a better job. I want my money back.

There are no weather text alerts/warnings, unlike in the free apps. As others have noted, there is a problem with the accuracy of reporting current weather conditions: for example, it showed cloudy for my area for at least an hour while it was *pouring*.Update 6/13/09. Again, I don't understand how some users can claim that this is a much better weather application than the others. Our expectations should be high because this is expensive (although fortunately the developers have brought its price more into line with other apps since a debut at a ridiculous $14.99). But again, this program has serious deficiencies: its weather reports are less accurate (the precipitation data is a joke), there still is no support for international weather reports, the developers refused to provide weather alerts because they were waiting for Apple to implement their push technology (surely some sort of alert mechanism is better than nothing!), and frankly, other apps provide *far* more information concerning health and safety risks than this one. Let's take the free AccuWeather, for example. It has most of the same features as MyWeather but offers a much larger radar map and in addition to weather alerts, a host of 6 different risk indices indicating severe weather potential over the next 8 hours plus UV/Air Quality indices. And so what if the My Weather developers have promised international weather and alerts: their pace of development is glacial and lags behind that of other apps that cost far less.

Simply put, this has the best UI of all the weather apps out there; everything is smooth, never crashes and radar is just fantastic!What could be wrong? Well, just read most of the other reviews; the forecasting is just plain bad.I've contacted these guys several times and they've always been very professional and courteous, but they don't seemed at all concerned about the constant innaccuracy of their forecasts. They've told me that it's very difficult to forecast, which I agree with but as some other reviewers have pointed out, their forecasting can be embarrasingly incorrect. Just 2 weeks ago it forecasted the NEXT days high in my area as 62 when the NWS had it around 48. Sure enough, the high was 48. I just don't understand how the forecasting can continually be that poor. Seriously, just have some dude copy NWS's site....then you'll be my favourite weather app of all time! 

I am kind of a weather nut and I purchased this app because of the beautiful radar and overall design. After a month, I rarely find myself using it for a few reasons. First, I want the option to disable the My Weather forecast as I don't leave my home location much and I would rather it not turn on Location Services each time I want to check the forecast- waste of precious battery power. I also would like to see a written forecast (30% chance of rain) for the day along with severe weather alerts. The trending never seems to be correct for precipitation. I keep my fingers crossed that this app will improve as it seems to be off to a good start- just not better than some current web apps.

I have downloaded several other weather apps and this one is far superior. Great features like automatic location weather, detailed forecast, and animated weather maps. My only suggestion would be to add precipitation percentage to the daily forecast tab. Over all great app. Definitely worth the money!!Edit: I have been using this app for several weeks now and I need to downgrade the rating to 4 stars. The app is very well designed and the looping radar is wonderful however the forecast is way off. I thought it was just a glitch at first but 90% of the time the forecast is not even close. Example it rained for 3 days strait and the forecast showed sunny skies everyday. Still a great buy for looping radar but hopefully the next update will address the forecast issues.Edit: Downgrading again Now I am 3.1 software and it us very very very slow. I hardly even open this app anymore. It still has the best visual radar of any app but that's about all it has.

Forecast completely innacurate. The forecast certainly does not come from NOAA. As for app functionality, I haven't had any crashes. The radar image needs to be larger.
