Money back please By: -Acker - Aug 18, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 Radar screen view is tiny n don't see a way to increase view area
I don't see hurricane fay or anything of a large storm south of florida
Don't see getting my money back
Essential for weather geeks By: LiberALan - Aug 17, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 This is a fantastic app. I had some initial problems with receiving my home city data so I e-mailed the company seeking help that night. The next morning I got an extremely detailed message with possible explanations and suggestions to correct the problem from Jim O'Brien, Project Coordinator for MyWeather, LLC. I did what he suggested and voila, it works perfectly. He followed up with, not one, but two e-mails to ensure that I was having no further problems. That, my friends, is customer service! The radar loop graphics are very cool and really show off my 3G iPhones capabilities. The app works well even when I'm in an EDGE-only area. I would pay the $15 again for this app - by far the best one that I have purchased to date.
Please add more locations By: SonnyInTX - Aug 17, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 I purchased this app on the strength of its ratings, and am pleased overall. I specifically like the radar loop and awesome zoom capability. However, there is a significant (large) area of northern Texas, probably 75 x 90 miles, in which none of the towns are listed in the menu of available cities/ towns. There is no way to add these, and some are fairly large (Jacksboro, TX).There is a lot of variance in the weather between the available listed areas. The radar helps somewhat with this deficiency, but must be manipulated and zoomed between available areas instead of being centered on the area of interest. Also, the detailed weather information is then not available for any of these towns.Overall, a quality weather app. It could be improved by the continued update of location choices available. Hopefully the developers will respond.
Awesome app.! By: powrslave - Aug 17, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 Super easy to use and information is quick to load and accurate! Totally worth the $$!
Great App. Too Expensive. By: neal1990 - Aug 17, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 This is a great application that does everything that is promised. I do wish however that its radar animation was a longer animation clip, its just a little short. IT ALSO SHOWS NO PERCENTAGE OF RAIN!!!!!!!!!! They neeeed to add the written out explantation of the days weather, even the free weather applications have it! It is also far too overpriced. If I could, I don't think I would have bought it at this price if I would have thought of this twice. I would wait for a price reduction from $15.AND ADD PERCENT CHANCE OF RAIN!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!! That's why I bought this $15 application!!!
Hurricane Tracking? By: BlindBoy1 - Aug 17, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 So far, love the app. It's much more detailed than any of the other weather apps for the iPhone. Still wondering if I've spent too much as it's the most expensive app I've purchased. But it does do all it says it will do. Now, with Hurricane season full on us I'd love to be able to track the hurricane action. Is there any way to include more info about that in the app?
Excellent Local Weather App! By: avejoe - Aug 16, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 All of us want to know what to pack for the weekend getaway or how to dress the kids for school, etc. This app is so easy to use and the graphics are wonderful. It is definitely worth the small fee. The only other place I could find this much interactive radar mapping is on TV!
Good app By: Carbonbot - Aug 16, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 Pros: just about everything - looks, function, dataCons: no humidity info (my wife has curly hair), has crashed a few times sending me back to the desktop (not a big problem). Our need for weather info is limited. We're in it for fun and to see what's going on in the towns our friends and family live in. Lots to play with in this app.
Great app - works as described By: Scooter60216 - Aug 16, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 This app provides everything it adertises. It may have a cost, but gives everything it describes. Fantastic program and the graphics are superb
Great weather app - high resolution radar is very nice By: JT078 - Aug 16, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 I think this is a really good weather app. Beats weatherbug and default iphone weather hands down in my opinion but then I really like to have radar. This program does fairly well at picking up your location or you can punch your common locations into the shortcut list. Zoomable radar and multi day forecast is great, and trends is kinda neat too. I think it's a little high priced, but overall a good application for those who like quick detailed access to forecasts and current conditions.
Nice visuals, but missing *essential* information like humidity, dew point, heat index and pressure By: dkallan - Aug 15, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 I just bought this app based on the fantastic reviews, resisting my sense that $15 was too pricy for a weather dashboard. I figured that $15 would give me all the weather information I ever needed. When I installed it, my eyes liked what they saw, but then, as I poked around, I began to think that I was using the interface improperly, as I could not seem to navigate my way to essential weather info such as humidity, dew point, heat index/wind chill (or "RealFeel" in Accuweather terms), rain probability percentage and barometric pressure. Then I realized: wow, this $15 app does not provide this basic information! The Current Conditions and Forecast show only temperature (high/low/current) and sky conditions (mostly sunny/scattered showers). There is no option to include additional data points in the main display or to drill down into these details. The Trend views allow you to scroll across a 12-hour window of temperature/sky conditions, precipitation in inches, and windspeed/direction. Again, no Trend view for Humidity/Dew Point. To clear up some of the confusion from earlier reviews, yes, there is definitely Doppler radar animation in the application, and it works. It would be nice if the user could configure the duration or time window for displaying radar map animation ("last 1 hour", "last 2 hours", "last 4 hours", "last 8 hours", "last 12 hours", etc) but it currently does not. It also does not display any duration or timestamp information on the radar animations, so I have no concept of currency or time scale. This could have been easily solved with a time slider at the bottom of the map that displays the selected duration and slides along with the image changes. In fact, this could allow for manual pausing and shuttling of the radar animation. That is the kind of missing functionality that you would expect from a $15 app. Also, the radar maps do not remember the last zoom and scroll position. Every time you go back to a radar map, it resets to the default display. It is frustrating to have to zoom and scroll every time you look at the map. Finally, there seems to be no severe weather alert capability in the application. WeatherBug, for all of its faults, has the ability to display severe weather alerts and even to push a notification badge out to the application icon. This should be a built-in capability for any of us who live anywhere but the fairest of California.Pros: - nice visuals - cool 12-hour trend charts for temperature/sky conditions, precipitation inches, wind speed/direction - animated Doppler radarCons: - missing essentials such as heat index/wind chill; dew point; barometric pressure; probability of rain - radar maps don't remember your zoom/position preferences - no time/duration data on radar animations - no configuration of duration for radar animations - missing severe weather alertsFix these cons and this app will be worth five stars and every penny of the $15. For now, I have to go back to WeatherBug for the basic data.

Works great By: traviswr - Aug 15, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 Awesome product look forward to more features and updates
Best weather maps ever!! By: BelleMack - Aug 15, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 I just can't believe I can zoom and move around in a streaming radar map!! And I'm writing this with a huge storm passing over my house. Will there be storm warning updates?
5 Stars but..... By: HCD3 - Aug 14, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 This is without question the best weather app for the iPhone, but on my 3G it stops mail and Pandora from working. For what this app does the price is more than fair. I'm hoping for a bug fix because as it is now I can't use Mail or Pandora with MWM installed.
Best app By: Skiridr - Aug 14, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 One the best app I have see, money well spent...
Amazing By: Xarp013 - Aug 14, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 Very pleased street level Amazing if one knows what this type of radar can cost
Nice By: cschmelz - Aug 14, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 I was hesitant to spend $15 on a weather app, but as a weather lover and a pilot I thought I'd give it a chance. It is really well executed. The moving/looping radar summary is really nice and you can use all the pinch, tap, drag moves in it. I hope they continue to improve the app and would really hope they add push features in September when the come available to be able to warn me of incoming storms/warnings/etc.
Love it By: vtemba - Aug 14, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 Outstanding
Radar Doppler makes this THE weather app By: pvonk - Aug 14, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 No crashes, I use it numerous times per day (we've been having a very wet summer). It's better than my Doppler widget on my mac. And it's like google maps with Doppler added. Expensive? Yes, but for me, it's worth it!
Quits / Crashes everytime By: kdiverdown - Aug 13, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 It was great when I downloaded it, helped me ALMOST convince a boat captain the weather was clearing to take us diving. On day three, it just quits and crashes EVERY time I open it. Lame. I will contact them for a fix, then ask for a refund if it doesn't help.
Best Weather App By: FeMan - Aug 13, 2008 Version: 1.0.2 MyWeather Mobile is a great weather app. I am not sure why so many people are having stability issues, but mine does not crash and is very stable. I love the radar, and I find it works best if you just rotate the iPhone horizontally to go directly to the radar, as opposed to selecting the little radar view and then rotating. Future enhancements are supposed to fix things like having a persistent radar view so you don't have to zoom in every time, and opacity, so you can see what is under the dark red and green echos. One of the best things about this app is that the customer support. I have personally sent Email with bug reports and feature requests to the developers, and they always reply back, and I believe they are working to make this an outstanding product, as they know when you pay $15, you expect a lot (vs. many of the other cheaper apps).I think future enhancements will make this an outstanding program (as it is already a very very good program), and I look forward to them coming out.
