Reviews:
Lacks accuracy By: Emma K. C. - Oct 6, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 Forecast completely innacurate. The forecast certainly does not come from NOAA. As for app functionality, I haven't had any crashes. The radar image needs to be larger.
No better than the iphone weather By: Ambience Man - Sep 22, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 I never use this anymore. It's equivalent to the weather app on the iphone, not better.
Did You Know? By: MyWx_Mobile - Sep 18, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 Customer SupportMyWeather has a customer support team waiting to serve its customers. If you have any questions, concerns, issues, or suggestions regarding the MyWeather Mobile app, contact our support team - "iPhone at MyWeather dot net".
No international locations By: mgmiv - Sep 17, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 This is a great app, very intuitive and useful. I would give it five stars but there seems to be no international support at all... Only US cities.
Was nice, but now... By: theoPhobia - Sep 12, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 Was nice a while back, but since 3.0 OS upgrade, slow. Now on 3.1 OS, seems so slow that I am going to uninstall.
Also, would be nice to have hourly forcasts. Helps plan a day better
Great Weather App!!! the best weather app out By: i have nothing further... - Sep 12, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 Great application! Easy and quick. the UPDATE voided the other weather app i used...
Love the interface but... By: Steve_in_Dallas - Sep 11, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 You can't trust the forecast. Temps and chance of rain are usually higher than all other apps report. I now only use it for the radar. They need a better source for their info.
Missing mayor cities and country By: Tritro - Sep 6, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 I live in Argentina, and i coulnd find any city from my country, also i couldnt find my country. I searched for uruguay, and it was there, but only montevideo, punta del este an important city for vacations for argentineas brazileans and uruguyans is missing too.
Current and forecast temperatures just plain wrong By: Belden Fox - Sep 4, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 Over the last couple of hot days here in San Jose the forecast and current temperatures reported by MyWeather have been high by about five degrees. They don't match what other web sites or apps report and they don't match what I feel when I step out the door. Bing has the same problem; seems that WDT (Weather Decision Technologies) is providing bad data. Slick little app but the temperatures are too far off.
Awesome app! By: Max2004 - Aug 29, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 I have used this for six months and the radar is great. In fact I used it today to look at some red cells to see how bad the weather was going to last.
Why did you take away the "my location" feature? That really hit my rating hard!! By: Vmax Man - Aug 27, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 Was better before the upgrade...

The new version with coverage outside of the United States is an improvement By: danchow - Aug 20, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 I like the overall interface - it's cleanly placed, and easy to read. Uncluttered. The Forecast is easy to read. It presents me with a simple look of what may transpire today. If I wish too look ahead, a simple swipe reveals forecasts days ahead. The Trend is also easy to read. It presents me with a simple chart showing today's temperature trend from current hour to later hours.Of the three - Forecast, Trend, and Radar - Radar is my favorite feature. Here I'm presented with an animation showing me, if any, the direction and strength of a storm system. The addition of other countries is an improvement. However, the current version does not yet have Trend data for other countries.(PS: Weather forecasting, although it has improved, is not a perfected science. The developers do not do the forecasting or predictions in such applications. Like most other weather apps, It uses the same data that is provided by the weather sources that other weather information providers such as weather.com and weather news channels use. Like all weather data, you have to take it with the proverbial grain of salt because weather monitoring devices report conditions in relation to its immediate surroundings.)
No Israeli Cities!? By: MFKoeln - Aug 20, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 Is it right, that this app not supports Israeli Cities. No Tel Aviv, Jerusalem or Haifa? Why?
Something apple should have done By: BHobb - Aug 15, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 Apple updated their 3.0 stock app with helpful charts to provide more information, but they left their weather app untouched. This app provides the features apple should have added themselves (forcast, hourly, and maps) in an almost apple-designed UI.
Really wanted to live this app… By: Pork Rind - Aug 12, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 This weather app has my favorite interface of all the ones I've looked at. Unfortunately, the temperature predictions are way, way off. I've seen occasions where the predicted temperature is 25 degrees different than the tightly clustered consensus from three or four other sources.
I wrote the developers, thinking that maybe this was some sort of installation error or a bug, rather than an inaccurate forecast. I got a polite email back that really said nothing. I followed up with another question and got no reply at all.
I can't recommend this app at all.
Way off By: Paul90404 - Aug 12, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 Beautiful interface, but every day for the last four days the weather forecast has suggested that in two days the temp in Santa Monica will be in the mid 90s. Hasn't happened yet. Not even close. Today, again, the forecast shows that it will be 96 degrees on Sunday, while it's forecast to be just 74 tomorrow. (I'm writing this on a Friday.) Huh? I have a feeling that tomorrow it will forecast that Monday will be 96 degrees. The innacuracy is something to behold. Did I throw away five bucks? So far, yes.
BEWARE!! Horribly Inaccurate By: Tim T. - Aug 12, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 There was a recent snow storm here in Seattle, the worst in decades, and I found this app was always wrong during that time. I absolutely love the design of this app but it just blows me away at how inaccurate the forecast and trend are. I've seen the next day's forecast change from saying a High of 45 degrees to a High of 27 degrees within an hours time, while other forecast apps stayed consistent and relatively accurate to the latter prediction. The temperature trend is always off from the current temperature. It also has no clue about precipitation trend. Sometimes it would rain all day and the trend would say nothing. I used to not care so much about the inaccuracy but now that I've had the opportunity to actually need it I'm kind of mad at the developers. The only thing that worked was the current temperature and the radar. Don't trust this app!
Inaccurate. By: Celeritas 5k - Aug 11, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 The interface is pretty good (map display is a little slower than I'd like), but without accurate data it's all useless. I've had this app for months now, and ithe forecasts are wrong pretty consistently...
Excellent Radar & Interactive Graphs By: SmackyJack - Aug 10, 2009 Version: 1.5 This app has really excellent full screen radar animations, as well as full screen temperature, rain and wind trends. I love touching the hour on the temperature trends and seeing the sky condition icon. I use this app every day and am addicted to it!
Inaccurate By: file2pc - Aug 9, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 Having used this app for several months, I've given it plenty of time. In a word - it's grossly inaccurate. I checked it day by day and it's usually off by 7 to 8 degrees in its forcasts for the WDC area. Don't buy it, use the free Weather Channel app.
MyWeather By: WEK57 - Aug 7, 2009 Version: 1.5.4 I was suprised when I purchased this app, when it first came out there was no advertisement, now there is a "bing" advertisement on the radar screen. I reported this to apple to see what they say.
