I was suprised when I purchased this app, when it first came out there was no advertisement, now there is a "bing" advertisement on the radar screen. I reported this to apple to see what they say.

I think this ap has the best weather radar. The latest update stabilized the radar sizing issue. But somehow I see Bing on the radar now. That bing should be on a free version. LOL

Nice interface, awesome radar. Can be slow to load and can't search cities by zip code.

This app looks good and is easy to use. The radar is very good. There is a mini view that shows your current location, determined by GPS. In landscape the radar can show animation and zoom down to street level with map or satellite views. The only bad things are you can't search for cities by zip code. It seems acurate, but I am uncertain of the extended forcasts; they seem to differ more than TWC or Weather Bug. Would be nice if the source of the weather information was displayed or avalible. The app can also take a little bit to load the data even on WiFi, sometimes the "My Weather" location will switch as it hones in on your location while loading. Get it while it's on sale if you do.Update (v1.4) - The latest update was not very good, the "My Weather" location is now gone and I don't see the option to turn it on anywhere. Also the radar now always starts looking at some view of the midwest and no where near my location, so I have to scroll over and the radar performance seems worse. I went back to the old version, 1.4 has problems.

I've own this app from the beginning and the temps are never right. I like the apps interface, just can't trust the daily temps.

Radar Function uses Microsoft Virtual Earth. Ahhh! Steve Ballmer is inside my iPhone! Now that he's inside he's going to try and copy everything so he can create an inferior knock-off and force it upon the masses. Oh wait - he's already done that with Windows Mobile. (Needs more "developers") I just hope that Ballmer doesn't change my wallpaper while he's in there. I don't want to pick up my iPhone and see him sweating and throwing chairs all over the place. Calm down Steven, you're only allowed one monopoly per lifetime. Anyway - this is a really great weather app. Autolocate rocks. Way better than native iPhone app. 

I'm in Hawaii and like to view up-to-date animated satellite images. I wish these were from NOAA but I guess Bing will have to do - better detail in the clouds would be nice but this app has the best I've seen. I wish I could target my city Kea'au, but I can only get Hilo 15 miles away. Also wish radar would remember my location on the main screen - it does on the horizontal blowup. Anyway - bought it for radar/satellite and that's good.

Love using international weather when I travel. Great to have back the ability to remove and re-add MyWeather. The more I use the app the more I love it!. Great interface, easy to use, it is the weather app for everyday people!

Weather alerts (soon to come) will make it nearly perfect. If I were to nitpick, it would be the weather icons. They are not that appealing to me. I love the ones on the iPhone included weather app (same as the ones on the OSX widget). I think their forecast (yahoo?) is slightly more accurate too? Radarscope is *not* worth the money. MyWeather has a better animated radar for the price.

This would be a five star app as well as the best weather app in the iTunes store if you were able to set where you're local weather data comes from. For my location the weather data is sent from an airport 17 miles away and on the other side of the Ohio River. Because of the river & geography temp & percipitation can vary greatly between my location and said airport. All the other weather apps give more specific local weather data so they tend to be more accurate.

I was hesitant to pay 15$ for any iPhone app. Reality is this is the best app I've downloaded from the store yet. Used it during a two week driving trip through the South. I also have weatherbug, wunderground, weather.com. This app is now all I use. The full screen map detail radar alone is worth it. Temp, rainfall, and wind trending is very handy as well. Another measure of a great app is Service. I submitted a question and received a very detailed, very patient response that same afternoon. I so wish it included NOAA as alerts. Perhaps the next version?

I've waited quite sometime to hopefully change my review to a more positive one, but when the forcasted temps are consistently WAY off i can not. What good is a weather forcast when even current temps dont mesh, where are these forcasts coming from?This app would easily get 5 stars if it were accurate! The interface is beautiful easily the best and easiest to use, but the temperatures for current conditions and the forecast are significantly and consistently off . I'm not comparing one forecat to another either my thermometer outside my door which I know to be accurate tells me so.I love the looping radar and the trends but its all virtually worthless in my eyes when it can't even get a proper temperature reading. 15$ later I'm very disappointed. I hope a future update will correct this!

I live in MN and the counties are all out lined wrong, Lots of the towns are in the wrong locations. I'm wondering what mapping system they used. I even have the same town in two different locations. The forecast is always around 6 degrees off. Sorry but I have Free Apps. that are far better. Keith

Buttons on MyWeather app

I downloaded this app and find that the arrow button to get more details on the city and the i button are very difficult to tap. I know it is NOT my itouch as no other app has this problem. I can sit here and tap tap tap before it takes. Does anyone else have this problem? I would give more stars if I could understand why it is so hard to manuever around in this app.

Forecast Temperatures Questionable

It is rarely that the forecast temperatures are accurate. The iPhone Weather application which comes with the phone tends to be more in line with reality. I only use this app for actual conditions the other app for forecasts.

Other radar's apps are crap but this one is the best one of all but I wish it could have more things on it! Like Info +about today,+indices,+Alerts,+videos,maybe more!

I really liked this application until the last update. It used to know where you were located and you could then be able to see what weather was around you. This was very helpful when traveling because if there was bad weather you could track it and know what to do... it seems that almost all of the other weather apps have this abiltiy. It needs to be added back

Not Accurate Anymore

Update 07/08/09: App current temp is accurate and the ability to see what weather station the app is pulling data from is great. I hope to see Push Notifications utilized in this app in the near future. Radar is nice and the app used to be accurate when it first was released. For quite awhile now the current temp and forecasts are way off, usually by ten to 15 degrees. I'm in a major city, so the app should be able to access the correct data. This app can only be relied upon for its radar functionality. As of now, the weather chanel app, along with most other weather apps, are tremendously more accurate. Even with the recent update, the app is stunningly incorrect with its data.
