I am not kidding. The backup took forever. As soon as I removed urbanspoon, the backup took considerably less time and therefore I get faster syncs. Urbanspoon, fix the bugs and add more cities please.

Certainly useful. I travel to a bunch of different areas and I can always count on this powerful app to get me a place to eat. The app never crashes on my 3g or 2g. It's even fun for kids when they want to pick where to eat.

Just saw the advert, on uk tv, downloaded and told it doesn't support south west England! Apple - your advertising team are muppets, sack them!!!

Nearest restaurant was about 30 miles away in London, so utterly useless. While there's nothing wrong with having a London-only app, it should be clearer upfront. Apple certainly shouldn't advertise it on TV without even a mention of its location restrictions because it sets expectations.

I also live in a small town in the south west of Scotland and the closest one I could get was London not really useful as it is a main promo for the iPhone on tv u think it would work

Does what it says it does, works really well and has a big enough database to be useful. Help out by adding the best places in your neighbourhood so that the database grows, and leave reviews or at least vote on the like it/don't like option. It's excellent, but will only get better as people use it more.

This app is very impressive, especially being available for $0. It is almost as good as onetouch movies (not free), but yes, the program restarting from the beginning Is slightly painful. Toronto listings are well on the thousands. This app has really encouraged me to be more adventurous with dining out instead of sticking to habits. Love it.
