Pay for AND pay to remove ads?

First app I paid for over a year ago. It was a full version, no ads, great improvements, UNTIL NOW!! They added ads and now make you pay a subscription to remove ads. Developers, at least you should have grandfathered your customers who alreay paid for this app prior to this newly devised purchase plan. How is that customer service? I will never suggest to anyone to buy this app for this sole reason. Potential customers, if you don't already own this app, "shop" around. Irony that a "shopper" app finds a away to make the customer keep shopping. ...completely disappointed_______________________________Update to my last response...I enjoy reading these reviews. They are classic. It's obvious you can read between the lines and read the true responses from disappointed customers. Then you read along a small grouping of obvious fake positive reviews planted for the purpose of an attempt to lure you into purchasing this piece of crap app. What's even funnier is when you read the Shopper Team Response message stating to send your problems to them and not post in iTunes reviews because they don't read them. LOL!! Obviously they're reading all the negative reviews or they wouldn't post that!Don't be fooled by the fake reviews. Listen to the truth of all the negative reviews. I too made the mistake of updating my paid app and was slapped in the face with ads and an offer to a yearly subscription to remove the ads. I was fortunate to recover to my older version app that was great for it's time and is still great today. There was no need to bloat this app into what it is today. I've left my reviews before but ironically they get deleted. Go figure. I guess the truth hurts. Keep shopping.

The app is good, does what it says but it was much better in it's early stages with faster load times and simple UI. All I use is the Lists Features, everything else just bloats the app.

Das Programm Shopper funktioniert im Prinzip ganz gut. Leider vermisse ich die Barcode scann funktion wie andere Programme sie schon lange eingefügt habe.Man kann zwar einen Barcode per Hand dazuspeicher (leider nicht über die Fotofunktion) und man kann auch nach einem Code suchen, aber leider muß man eben alles von Hand eingeben. Außerdem vermisse ich auch ein vernünftiges Backupfile, das meine erstellten Artikel sichert.Rundum nicht schlecht aber stark verbesserungswürdig. Ich würde lieber auf die Lite Version oder auf ein kostenloses Programm umsteigen.

Je n'utilise plus que cette application pour mes courses. Je peux ajouter un article au moment où j'y pense. Il est vrai que l'ouverture de la liste est un peu lent et qu'il serait génial d'ajouter la lecture du code-barre. Peut-on rêver ? Merci en tous cas de cette avancée !

I found this app quite a while ago and quickly fell in love. What a great way to make a shopping list. The devs unfortunately believed (like too many devs) that adding features and adding features and adding even more features was a good way to iprove the list.It was not.What used to be a pretty straightforward, simple and awsome app became a bloated monster of an app, filled with useless features.Also, the start screen took forever to load plus you had to see that crammed opening menu.This app is a perfect example of how you can make an app by ADDING stuff.Look elsewhere for a good app.

nach dem programmstart sind nur mehr die halben Funktionen verfügbar. die beworbene scan-funktion ist nicht dabei, leider nur ein nepp. rausgeschmissenes geld, denn die verbleibenden Funktionen gibt's auch in gratis apps.

Agree the new update does nothing for me and I don't like the ads and none of the store info applies to Canada but, I do like saving trees without paper lists and I feel more organized with a running list instead of 10 pieces of paper.

I fist had this app about a year ago & gave upcoming it because of problems with it's design and functionality.since the last update to v8, I am pleased to say that the app now functions wellI like the ability to construct different aisle/product arrangements for each store & have different priced for products in each store. The app now has a smooth flow to it's operations, and it's appearance is very clear and attractive.

Låång uppstart vilket är irriterande när man står i affären. Efter lite jobb med att lägga in hur avdelningarna kommer i affärerna är det suveränt att varorna alltid ligger i rätt ordning. Att den automatiskt byter till rätt affär funkar inte alltid, men det är lätt att byta manuellt. Har en 7-8 listor för olika sorters butiker o orter t ex Apoteket o GeKås men använder såklart oftast den för matvaror.

I've been using this app for awhile. I can't stand the fact that we have to deal with ads in a paid app. More and more seem to be added with every update. Now the new home screen just complicates things even more. None of the flyers etc. apply to Canada anyway. I'm deleting the app.
