Useless update!!! Put a dictionary on regular play and teacher feature too! Best word button is garbage still...why make cheating so convenient?!!! Is anyone else having a hard time with pass and play? It doesn't save the settings and u have to "trick or force" it into working properly. I love scrabble and will still use it.... But I don't highly recommend it. Update has to be coming soon cause no one likes the new version .... Come on ea... U can do much better.

What's with all the ads? I paid for this app!

The new version is incredibly irritating. I paid good money for this game, not to be blasted with ads for other EA games. What a user-hostile, nasty way to treat customers. Oh, and thanks for wiping months of accumulated stats when I upgraded. What am I paying for here? I would have been better off sticking with free apps.

Great game but I've now lost two games because of a bug in the scoring! At the end of the game it is supposed to subtract the total score of letters in your rack. Right now it is adding that number to both players in the game. Please fix!!!!

They Ruined The Game

This was my wife's favorite game when she could pass her iPhone back and forth between herself and me or a friend and play a game of Scrabble It's now been totally ruined for that purpose. I want my $4.99 back... this is no longer the game I purchased!

Upgraded to the latest version and can no longer play opponents over wi-fi. Continually get a message saying that I'm not connected, even though I am and other apps work. Hope they fix it fast otherwise will break our habit and move on to something else.

Ads and no multiplayer on single device

I wish I could go back to the old version! The latest update adds CLUNKY new buttons that are hard to decipher, UNWIELDY to use, and incredibly UGLY to look at. I'm giving this a one-star review for recklessly trampling over what I liked about the old interface. The so-called game designers should be ashamed of themselves.

TERRIBLE "UPGRADE"

I have to agree with the rest of these comments. This uses to be arguably one of mine and my girlfriends favorite games and we love the fact that we could finally play our own tunes on while playing . The down side are the popup ads that TOTALLY ARE A TURN OFF AND I AM NOT SURE IF THEY ARE EVEN LEGAL ( gf is a lawyer and looking into it). This along with the fact there is no difficulty setting anymore and the game is a complete shadow of what it once was. Entirely to easy and no fun. PLEASE CORRECT THIS OR YOU CAN BE SURE YOU HAVE SEEN THE LAST OF OUR ALONG WITH SEVERAL OTHERS BUSINESS AND SUPPORT.UPDATE;I was able to locate the difficult settings but the location is very difficult to find and the AI is extremely unfair using words that are extreme to say the very least

Worst idea for an update I have seen! It used to be a game that my girlfriend and I used to play while waiting in line for something in the 'Pass n Play' mode. Now it is useless. We were thinking of buying the actual board game to have at home, now we are rethinking whether we want to or not.Please change it back to the way it was.

I can only find one problem with this app however it is a problem that's a game stopper. If you are playing a friend using facebook connect you would assume that EA/Hasboro would set up the app to push notify you that it's your turn, right? WRONG. It's absolutely ridiculous to not have push notifications at the end of each persons turn! Does EA/Hasboro think that each time you start up a game, you're actually going to play the entire thing with an interruption? In order to check if it's your turn you must completely load the app/sign into your facebook games, load the game, determine whose turn it is. If it's not your turn, guess what? Yup, you get to do this process over and over until it actually is your turn. This app has such great potential however it's worthless in it's current state. If this app had push notifications I would easily give it 5 stars however this oversight makes the app a 5.00 dollar icon that will never get pressed.

I got this app to play against friends, but the wifi multiplayer option refuses to connect with any wifi networks. There is a definite bug here, so buyer beware.

Now that my boyfriend and I have updated our scrabble application, we are unable to play the game altogether. We keep getting the message "not connected to wireless network". WE ARE CONNECTED!!! Will someone out there fix this issue???

The most recent update removed the feature play & pass. This was a cool option when you didn't have wifi available and wanted to play with more than one person. It's one thing when the update adds funtionality to an app. It's quite another when they remove funtionality that you as the buyer has payed for. What is this? The Kindle of games? Shame one you, EA. I formally demand that you return all the features that I PAID for now! And for all of you who research the updates before implementing them - BEWARE.
