Great job guys. Thanks for bringing augmented reality to Canada. Just check it out and works pretty good. To use this just shake your phone up to 5 times and the feature will appear on the top right corner. Thanks cnet for the tip.

This has real potential - good interface and informative results. But it's not that accurate yet - there's a petrol station 100 meters from my house and it told me the nearest was 1.3 miles away! It's a community app so start using and uploading and it'll get better.

Obviously this is only great for fans of yelp. Great for finding last minute stops, but wish you could filter by star rating and have it return to your last search after calling a place (as opposed to having to search again). Overall, fantastic!

This app has soo much potential. I'm really enjoying it at the moment, I just have a couple of suggestions; They need to make it easier to search a restaraunt (or just anything), I don't like have to 'x' out the location every time, it's quite annoying because most of the time that I put the restaraunt and the location, it doesn't recognise it. Maybe an advanced search may help solve this problem. It is super annoying that everytime you get a msg, compliment or any form of text comment, that you receive notification via email, and have to exit out of the app and use safari to view the message... What's up with that? The logic behind it is beyond me! Also another annoying thing is have to finalise the review of something through the main website, it kinda defeats the object on the iPhone for me personally. Aside from these slight complaints, I'm having a really good time using the app, but in simpler words: IT NEEDS TO BE MORE IPHONE FREINDLY!!

Very helpful in finding all kinds of things. The reviews are extremely helpful. But the obvious flaw is that what's there depends on what people review.

Considering Urbanspoon has reviews for 1800 restaurants in my city and this app only lists 300, it isn't worth the download! It also shows only 2 banks and 40 places to shop, which is not accurate at all. This app, although well designed, isn't useful.

Finally I was able to see the AR Function in an app.It's amazing and the possibilities are immense! It needs to be finetuned but still 5 stars for the efforts.Monocle button is there after the 3.1 update, no crazy shakes needed now!!!

Yelp is sooo helpful! It also allows you to view a selection on their website..which is cool to see. I think this is way better than Urbanspoon. Yelp has pictures of places (depending if someone uploaded it), reviews by the people, a map,...etc. It gives good information packed into an App.

80% of the businesses are shown in the wrong place, often out by ten miles or more. Just type "pub" or "restaurant" into your iPhones built in map app, it's results are way more reliable. Just cuz this app is free doesn't mean it's great, you could waste some serious time if you actually tried to use it to find somewhere. I'm all for augmented reality, but this is augmented un-reality.
