I looked up auto glass las vegas. The first return was the auto collection at the imperial palace the third was a strip club and the fourth was the bellagio casino. Totally worthless. Don't waste the memory for this.

Overall, this is a great app, and I have not had any major technical issues with it. My only complaint is that you can't post a review via your iPhone, which on my opinion is a major flaw. If this app had the aformentioned ability, I would have given it a five star rating.

Inconsistent Performance

I like the concept of this app, but the performance is inconsistent at best. Sometimes the app loads a complete list of nearby businesses and then at time when searching from the exact location it indicates no businesses in the area. Also at times the app will allow me to view the business info and sometimes it displays a connection error. Other apps connect, so I have to believe this app is buggy? I also think the app is missing out on allowing reviews from the phone.

I love this app!! I'm in DC on business, and I need a Post Office; I need a drugstore; I need an ATM. Locate . . . search . . . bingo!! Of course, Yelp! can also guide you to local restaurants--in fact, comparing it to other programs using the neighborhood where I live, Yelp! is better at pulling up the little local places than most--but lots of other programs can get you to a restaurant. It's the ability to find other local resources when traveling in an unfamiliar city that makes Yelp! really shine.

I was 1/2 mile away from a mcdonalds and this app told me the closest one was 10 miles away. It also adv me there were no gas stations in my town, well there are approx 6 includn speedway n BP (small town). Go with super pages it's much better.

I had already dowloaded Near and Now, (which I like) but thought that there were too few users so I tried Yelp. Then I found out about the suspicious review activity reported here on many reviews. That was a bummer and lowered my enthusiasm a bit.Then I couldn't get the app to find my locatation on 3G or via my Wi-Fi. What's the sense in an app that uses your location to find businesses if you can't find your location?I'll be deleting this app and hoping that Near and Now gets some more fans as I like their UI and concept better anyway.

This is the only app I've ever used I would give 6 stars if I could. This app is essential if you travel. I was driving back to Boston from Montreal and had the best breakfast of my life in Burlington, VT. (Penny Cluse Cafe if you're ever in Burlington.) I would have never known about it... or the dozens of other amazing places I've found if it wasn't for Yelp.

Location Services and Yelp

Probably okay, but has an annoying feature. Give me the option to search on a location without the annoying "Location Services" message popping up every 30 seconds! Maybe I want to do research on a location before I get there! Maybe this is okay with a iPhone but with the Touch it's better to leave the Location turned off unless truly needed to save battery life.

Yelp = 50% reading reviews + 50% writing reviews As of now, it deserves 2.5 stars just because I can't write up reviews from my phone.. But the other half works great.
