I've been a regular user of the Google Reader site in my iPod for a while, waiting for an app that could replace it. With the handy offline caching, in-app browsing and much improved speed, Byline is recommended! Bargain at the sale price too.

Byline is... was the best reader I could find in the App Store. Now it crashes everytime I go back to my feed list.*****New version fixes all bugs. Thank you! 5 stars.

Waiting for v3 this version is lacking too much features..Edit: sadly caching is very very slow. About 2 feeds/second so the app keeps loading. V2 was much faster. V3 is freezing.....

If you use google reader to read your rss feeds then this app is a must. It keeps your folder structure, allows you to star articles, email articles and even create notes. Best rss reader in the app store.

Version 2.0 is a lot better than the first one. Very clean and fast interface to read feeds. For me one of the best iPhone apps in the store right now.

This is how every app should be: beautiful and funtional. I have more than 200 feeds in gReader, and for the first time all of them are read. Bylines is fast and easy to use, I can recommend it to anyone who truly wants to enjoy reading their feeds again. Ditch that webapp and buy Bylines!

I really like this app! It looks good, the interface is clean and responsive. It even includes a simple web browser so that you can follow external links or look at the original blog post without leaving the app and launch Safari. Nice :) It even remembers which entry you were reading when you close and reopen the app, one of the things that has really annoyed me with the other readers I've tried. The one thing that would make this app warrant a fifth star would be if it also remembered external web pages in the same way, as well as the exact scroll position in the blog post or web page you were looking at.Keep up the good work!

I've been in love with Byline since I first found it a couple of months back... Now I'm not so sure. Previously, with its great-looking, logically-themed icon and gentle, attractive wood-grain background, it was as pleasing to look at as it was to use. Now, it's got a hideous, non-sensical icon that doesn't make me think RSS at all, and the background of the app has been changed to a harsh grey that may as well have come from a Windows 95 program. I can understand that the woodgrain isn't for everyone, but can we at least have it as an option?Functionally, it's fantastic - syncing works flawlessly, reading through my news feeds is a joy. But please, give me the option of removing that eyesore of a background, and bring back the previous icon!

Really, it's the perfect iPhone google reader client, so far at least. It unfortunately lacks instapaper support, hope to see it in a future version — stars help, but instapaper would rock :)

一直用byline同步google reader，对其一贯表现甚是满意。更新到当前新版本2.5.4后，竟然无法运行，总是自动退出，返回touch主屏，很是想不明白。如是普遍现象，请开发者速度解决。

Har været igennem Feeds, RSS Pro, m.fl. Første gang jeg anvendte Byline, skulle den igennem at gemme lidt over 600 artikle resumeer; fint: jeg ville herefter kunne læse resumeerne offline. Efter denne synkronisering, virkede Google Reader synkroniseringen fantastisk hurtigt. 7 timer efter aktiverede jeg Byline igen. Nu var alt glemt, ny omsynkronisering med Google Reader, inkl. ny gemning af ca. 600 resumeer. Nej: jeg abbonerer ikke på så mange feeds, at der kommer nye 600 resumeer til på 7 timer.Konklusion: Feeds applikationen virker *meget* bedre end Byline - her har jeg ofret 30 kroner for noget dårligt (på den anden side var alle de andre investeringer også spildt indtil jeg ramte Feeds applikationen). Feeds applikationens synkronisering virker ind og imellem ustabil. men man skal ikke atrte forfra, når der der gået nogle timer.

Over the last couple of years I've been using byline on a daily basis for my hourly news fix and have never had a problem with it. But every now and then I'll have a look around the app store to try and find something better, after many downloads and many uk pounds spent I allways return to byline. I do have one feature request though, a dark theme, not just the top and bottom bar's, but the entire screen, apart from that it's "PERFECT".
