Reviews:
one of the best iPhone apps By: metropical - Oct 18, 2009 Version: 2.2.1 The backup/restore function makes 1PW incredibly convenient. For wallet items especially, this is an excellent app.
Larest update deletes all info... By: mstarostka - 23-Aug-2008 Version: 1.3.2 I liked this app a lot, but since the update deleted all my info I think I will remove it - I don't know if I can be bother to type all the info again (I'm using Windows = no backup) :/.
- very dissapointing...
This app rocks! By: DudemanLA - Oct 17, 2009 Version: 2.2.1 I also love the desktop version. It's a mac gemThe master password is not the unlock code it's the password you chose when u got the app. I remember it cause I always enables the master password for security so I have to put it In everytime I open a new login I have it on my mac and iPhone. I can sync it to the iPhone version. Very cool. A gem of an app. Love it Woo hoooo!
update crashed phone By: risingpaulo - 22-Aug-2008 Version: 1.3.2 New update has completely crashed iphone. Had to start it up in recovery an then restore the entire lot. BEWARE!Just to check it wasn't just mine, i had recommended this product to a friend and once finding out the harm, i advised they remove it (prior to update) Whilst trying to remove old version, their phone also crashed a number of times and now requires a longer start up time.
Love this app By: Bmaustin - Oct 15, 2009 Version: 2.2.1 Well worth it whn set up correctly. Saves lots of time logging into sites remembering passwords. Just wish they had a windows version as well.
Sehr gut, ein nützliches Programm By: StinkFish - 17.10.2008 Version: 1.3.2 Ich verwende online meist lange Passwörter.
For people who actually know what they are doing By: Dr Creek - 21-Aug-2008 Version: 1.4 When it comes to some passwords they need to be too long to type on an iPhone.Gives you a few decent levels of security for the convenience of not having to type in your 20 char long password for some of your favorite sites. For people that use the desktop app this is a god send. However if you use the same password123 job for every site you join. This app is not for you. But maybe it should.
i feel ripped off. By: oakie51 - Oct 12, 2009 Version: 2.2.1 i have owned the desktop version of 1Password for over a year now and rely on it, so of course i went and bought the iPhone app once it was released to give my password database more portability and further help secure my iPhone.what irks me to no end is this: the desktop version's new features in the 3.0 beta not being supported in this PAID version of the iPhone app and the new problems with syncing the app to the desktop. i'm insulted at the fact that not only am i a paying customer of both versions, i'm now being forced to AGAIN buy yet another app to get all of the functions my money should have paid for in the first place.seriously though, i feel milked and it's time to find another password organizer.
No Mac = no use By: justjames - 18-Aug-2008 Version: 1.3 No support for Windows, no capability to web sync (you have to wait to be "invited" to use their web service, which I requested about 2 weeks ago and still haven't had any response). Only way to sync is to buy their software which costs about £17 and is Mac only. I could use it stand-alone and rely on my iTunes backup I guess...but I don't want to have to enter all my login/password data twice in order to be able to see it on my desktop PC or when I'm at work...
Wifi sync is helpful By: Brians review - Oct 11, 2009 Version: 2.2.1 Helps me get alot done
First Time User By: C.J.Watkin - 17-Aug-2008 Version: 1.3 I have a Mac but have never needed an app like this but then i downloaded it for my iphone 3G and i love it. It's a very useful application and I need not forget any of my account information again. Apart from working well the app also looks very nice and is easy to use. Very nice app would recommend anyone with an iphone to get this app, especially considering its free.
Great App By: Hotel PRR - Oct 10, 2009 Version: 2.2.1 This is a great which I use daily. I pay all my bills currently through this App bc my PC recently crashed. This App does mote than I could expect or ask for. Great App- enjoy. And thank you to the creators...
Lost without it By: MTFox - 17-Aug-2008 Version: 1.3 I'd be helpless without 1Password on the Mac, and finally I can take all my (and my clients') 500+ logins and passwords with me. Sync is as simple as it gets, and contrary to some other reviewers, I don't find the application "pointless" just because Safari integration isn't there yet (who ARE these people?). It's still a brilliant password manager - and it's FREE! (Thanks!)
Should be awesome. Doesn't really work. By: (( ben_d )) - Oct 10, 2009 Version: 2.2.1 I am a huge fan of 1Password (the desktop app). I'm only writing this in hopes that they will address the issues. But the built-in "browser" that is supposed to let you autofill your passwords simply doesn't work. It won't fill my passwords. Other than that the app works fine. But really, that function is THE main feature of 1Password and to have it not work is very disappointing.
Idee toll, great idea ... By: markofnoise - 21.09.2008 Version: 1.4 ... funktioniert aber nur bei max. 15% meiner URLs
... but works only for 15% of my URLs
SW 2.1
App stürzt häufig ab
app crashes very frequently
Got There Eventually... By: PF of London - 17-Aug-2008 Version: 1.3 Having used the desktop version of 1Password for some time now I was looking forward to the iPhone version so as I could sync up my notes, webforms etc wirelessly.Unfortunately this was easier said than done and required a fair bit of digging around on the 1Password website, the Help menu within the application itself provided no real solution other than a walk through of what should happen...unfortunately in my case it wasn't. Whilst I could connect to my desktop wirelessly the authorisation code that the iPhone application sent was not being seen by my desktop machine. I was being asked to enter a code but there was nowhere to enter the code on my screen.Anyway to cut a long story short, I discovered that I had to downgrade to version 2.8.1 of the desktop version and change my firewall settings to allow access of incoming 1Password requests. So whilst I'm more than happy with the desktop version this iPhone version has some definite issues surrounding it. I noted on the 1Password website that a new beta is currently being tested so hopefully this should clear up some of the bugs in what should be a great app for the iPhone.
