I'm loving it!

It makes my life so much easier

Fantastic product - the desktop version is a must-have too - sync could be smoother

Fantastic product. Stores all your passwords, private information, credit card info etc -- syncs with your Mac with the desktop version. If you were a former Windows user, the desktop version is basically Roboform for Mac, and the iPhone app syncs with that. The sync could be more seamless, but it works (and they are incredibly good developers, serious, regularly updating their stuff). I have no interest in the company, just a believer.

Just an OK app, but why charge for the 3.0 OS update?
By: Kr1pto - Jun 30, 2009
Version: 2.1
I have this app on my mac and iPhone and occasionally use it. Not bad except that your password list easily becomes unmanageable because the UI for this app is lame. I seriously don't know why they feel justified in charging for the "update" which is not much of an update. Kindof a lame move and it is motivating me to look elsewhere for password management. Sorry Agile Web Solutions, but you lose.

Good when it was free, not worth a dime if you have to buy it

This should integrate itself into Safari. It's really cumbersome and frustrating to use when browsing sites. Dont waste your time.

1Password Continually Keeps Me Safe and Mobile
By: SFringer - Jun 30, 2009
Version: 2.1
I have been a happy user of 1Password on my Mac, and when I added an iPod Touch to my life, I was held up trying to access some of my routine sites from my Touch. Then I saw 1Password for iPhone/Touch and immediately installed and synced. I am now happily accessing all my password secured sites from my iPod Touch without issue!

This is a great app with an even better desktop program!

Amazingly Fantastic

I just got into the habit of using 1password on both my macs in the last couple of months and i am super excited to see the native app for the Iphone. It is a little buggy and slow, But I am sure these things will be fixed rather quickly. If you own a mac and you are not using 1password then you should start. And if you are like me and was kind of stand offish about getting super secure passwords now you have no excuse, you can have them right there on your iphone and not have to worry about forgetting them.

Don't Understand What All The Negative Reviews Are About
By: Phenobarbarella - Jun 30, 2009
Version: 2.1
This app is, quite simply, the best password application for Mac users. I can understand why PC users would bemoan the lack of a PC-desktop version. But the guys at Agile don't exactly try to conceal the fact that their desktop software is Mac-only. And although I've obviously not had the opportunity to experience the iPhone app without being able to sync it to my desktop version, I can't imagine it'd be so awful that it would rate one star. The security is quite tight indeed - as far as I can tell from my non-expert position on it - and the UI is first-rate. Plus, it's FREE. Heck, even if you ARE a PC user and ultimately find the lack of compatible PC-side software to be enough of a problem that you delete this app in favor of some other solution, the entire experiment has cost you a grand total of $0.00. To me, that's an awfully difficult price to get incensed and/or snarky about. And Agile aren't just some fly-by-night kid in his basement, trying to make beer money by cranking out a useless iPhone app or two, they're a highly respected desktop password manager software company (among other things). It's not as if you should seriously be asking yourself whether this software is going to expose your private data or anything similar. It won't.And, for those who have the Mac version, it is positively sublime to have the same list of passwords (which, for me, is quite extensive indeed) on my phone as I do on my home Mac, without having to laboriously re-enter each and every one of the passwords I think I might ever want/need via mobile. Five stars, without question....just like the desktop version. And for anyone out there who's still wondering whether this one is for them? Like I said: remember, IT'S FREE. What have you got to lose? This isn't even "money back guarantee," because you don't have to SPEND any money. You don't like it, you delete it, and that's that. But I'm betting that if you're a Mac user who somehow has managed to NOT ever hear about 1Password in the past, try this out, and you'll soon be thinking about springing for the desktop version, too.

It's the synching that makes it great
By: Smalps - Jun 29, 2009

1Password for the iPhone is not there yet, but definitely on its way. The fact that you can set up your passwords on the desktop version on your Mac and then sync them -- in my case all 750 of them -- with the iPhone is what makes this app brilliant. It's capable of understanding fairly complicated logins and simple to modify when the site changes. I use it several times a day. In addition, the support (through the forums) is prompt and attentive. This is a young and enthusiastic company with an excellent product.

Awesome application. Even better if you have a Mac and buy the companion Mac version. Very easy to use and can securely store lots of information, not just passwords. Get this app!

Forget the one or two "passwords" you have. With 1Password, I've created several strong passwords without any concerns. Great app!!!

Best security out there!
By: Karen284 - Jun 27, 2009
Version: 2.1
I've tried lots of similar security apps but 1P is, hands down, the best and most reliable and user-friendly one there is. I feel VERY confident that my private info is safe from prying eyes, even if I lose my iPhone. So many levels of encryption and security that I put EVERYTHING in my 1P database. And it's SO easy to let 1P fill in logins and PWs too. So much more too. Do yourself a favor and get it! And, by the way, the team behind 1P is superb! These people work very hard, are constantly sending out upgrades if they discover a little bug or make it better in any way, and their customer service is excellent! This app gets even better over time, like a fine wine! Good job Agile Web Solutions! I'm a fan!

Nice Application
By: skiaddict - Jun 27, 2009

I love the ability to securely carry around my passwords and integrate this app with the desktop version which is superb. The iphone app needs a little polishing, but for a very new entry into iphone development, you guys are doing a great job and I'm confident that the iphone app will become better and better in the next few months.

Copy/paste
By: sinX80 - Jun 27, 2009

This version does use Apple's standard text tools providing copy/paste, you just have to click edit to do it.

love it, very convenient...but
By: hollyhags - Jun 26, 2009

I have a suggestion. I think that when entering master passwords the program should ask you to input it twice. It's so easy to input incorrectly with the iphone, and not notice. I did this on my master password, and when I went to try it out (luckily I hadn't set any to be protected with it!) I guess I typed it incorrectly, b/c I know what i WANTED it to be, and it keeps saying I have it incorrect...which I can only assume means I made a typo, which is unfortunate b/c I would like that extra level of security. This has all of my financial info etc.

Best password app on iPhone
By: Dieburnbot - Jun 26, 2009
Version: 2.1
All it is missing is a way to sync with a Windows PC other than that it is pretty much perfect. I was able to sync my passwords with a Mac after some trial and error, but it worked and now I have all my almost 400 logins on my phone. This was also the only app I found that would let me import my Roboform passwords. I have been using this password manager since the first day it came out and it is excellent. However, I am giving it 2 stars because of the new PRO version that was released. The only real feature that includes is copy/paste. It should have been included in this version from the beginning. It is a basic feature of iPhone firmware 3.0. The PRO version is just to milk money. 1password was free for a long time and I'm guessing it got downloaded too many times. Now that they want money their sales dropped so they released the PRO version which is a gimmick. Why give it away free in the first place if they weren't willing to/couldn't handle the consequences? Sounds shady. Non- pro users shouldn't have to wait. Apple finally gives us copy/paste after all this time FOR FREE and now shady 3rd party developers are charging us to use it. BS. A lot of mac users seem to kiss Agile's a**. I'm not a mac user and the first time I had heard about them was when I got my iPhone and they tarnished their rep with me already. I wish Siber Systems would release a version of Roboform for iPhone.
