The app seems to respond quickly. It has a nice interface and I was able to log into all my IM services with no problem. One beef I have is, there is no way to hide the offline buddys. I hate when an IM client shows the list of friends not logged in. Devs if you read this please add the feature to not show offline contacts. Beyond that great job on the first official multi-protocol IM client. :)

Finally, a messenger client for the iPhone that supports multiple messenger services including YM, AIM, and MSN! Now I can keep in contact with all my friends who use different services. The interface is great too! I love the feature to send picture messages. Before you can sign in to your IM accounts, you first have to create an Palringo account which to me was a little tedious because their site was very slow but I'm sure this problem will straighten out. There also isn't any support for groups, meaning if you have a ton of contacts, things can get a little confusing. My biggest gripe about this app is that it does NOT run in the background. If you exit to the main menu, you are also closing the application, unlike AOL messenger for the iPhone. Other than that, this app is great. Best of all, its free! I highly recommend this app for those who need messaging while on the go.

Doesn't have proper back-end support.

I've been trying to access their website all morning in order to create an account just so I could test the product and had issues with the site either being down or horribly slow. Now granted these are to be expected on day 1 of launching an app (maybe) in the appstore. So while waiting for their registration site to work I went over to their forums to browse the threads. The english forum only had 2 threads; "funny people" with 10 responses and the other thread being "well skype" with 0 responses. This is their user-base. I would suggest passing on this product and waiting for a more established one like Fring/Adium/Meebo/VeriChat to have an offering. I'm not even sure how they were approved as a developer.

Registering is fine stop complaining retards.

If you're gonna put on an app, how hard it is to make sure people can actually sign on?? You can't even create an account! Going to uninstall and not give it another chance. Will wait for Meboo or other alternatives.

While it's a good concept, and supposedly has some good features. It is worthless as of now because you have to register with their fly by night website, and the website is down apparently.

Isn't it supposed to stay online even when you close the app unless you open any other? Because it doesn't. And I've already had some crashes. They app looks great. And it's great that you can send pics. But (like almost every apps) first versions have some bugs. But... well done!

Finally an all in one messenger app this is what i've been waiting :) an app that can hold all my AOL's AIM, Google Talk, Yahoo! Messenger, Gadu Gadu, ICQ, Jabber and Windows Live Messenger account . it can even send text message to my contact GREAT APP I'M SO PLEASE WITH IT

I think this is the first of it's kind over here in the app store, Great start for a multiservices chat client. The samantha thing is also cool. Should be in the top 25 free apps.

So to use this program, you need a Palringo account...of course you do. Like all these apps, you need a special login for God knows what reason, before you can start using the real program. Well despite the fact that I'm not too keen on *another* company know my password...the stupid website is down to register. Thanks guys. Epic fail.
