I've read most of the low star reviews here and so far not a single one raises a valid point. This app does exactly what is says and does it very well especially for a FREE app. When I go out for a bike ride or hop on the Greyhound I open this app and let it track me, this way my family can see online where I am. If they need to meet me somewhere they can see how far I am from the destination etc. Very handy app and no extra bells and whisles thus loading time is kept to a minimum. Keep up the great work InstaMapper!As for other reviewers: Please read the description fully and try the app before reviewing!

Das App funktioniert auf meinem IPhone 3g FW 2.1 ohne Probleme. Einbindung per html-Code in meine Website war auch kein Problem. Registrierung ging schnell und absolut unkompliziert. So macht man das gerne. Lediglich das das App nicht im Hintergrund laufen kann, ist ggf was störend, aber das liegt ja an Apple und nicht primär an den Entwicklern des Apps.Daher von mir 5 Sterne.

Cela fait une semaine que je me suis inscrit sur le site, je n'ai toujours pas reçu de courrier de confirmation. J'ai laissé un message sur le contact, toujours rien.Conclusion : application inutilisable pour l'instant.

Despite the website supporting metric, the iPhone app doesn't. You'd think you could preview your path as a graphic, but all you see is a lot of numbers. But worst of all, it seems to maintain a constant net connection, which on 3G with the constant use of GPS is a killer for the battery. I went on a boat cruise around a small island with this on and my freshly charged battery was dead within an hour. Perhaps that's too optimistic on my part, but I'm struggling to see what sort of gps path you'd want to record that would take significantly less time.

Una volta capito come funziona, fa bene quel che dice. Il multitasking è un limite imposto dall'iphone a tutte le applicazioni, quindi mettiamoci l'animo in pace. A me serviva uno strumento preciso per geolocalizzare le foto fatte con altre fotocamere, e questo, potendo impostare la precisione e potendo esportare i file in csv e kml è perfetto. Lo scambio dati con la rete è minimo.

Das Programm ist gut und bislang einzige im AppStore.Es können Tracks durch senden der Positionsdaten an einen Server, auf einer Google Map angezeigt werden.Dazu ist die kostenlose und sehr einfache Anmeldung bei InstaMapper nötig.Man kann konfigurieren, in welchem Zeitabstand die Postionsdaten übertragen werden und welche Genauigkeit sie haben sollen, bevor sie hochgeladen werden.Es fällt Traffic an !Leider kann man auf der Map nicht auswählen welche Positionsdaten angezeigt werden sollen, also es gibt keine Filtermöglichkeit, nach Datum oder ähnlichem.Ansonsten ist der Dienst gut und der Hersteller arbeitet am Ausbau seines Services.

Why is it that American programmers don't take into account every other countries requirement to use the metric system? Please update this app as your tracking web site supports metric measurements. Otherwise excellent app at a great price!

I have a charity called Ride 4 Kids Sake and every year I do a solo motorcycle marathon to raise awareness for a chosen charity. This year the kids thought it would be cool to find a way to track me live. Well I came across this product and it work flawless, everyone watched my progress and knew the exact location each time I updated my live blog from my phone. Only regret I have is not leaving it on full time to capture some of the cool back roads I was on. It would have killed my battery and being solo and in the middle of no where sometimes, have enough juice to use the phone is critical. I look forward to using this app on all future weekly and annual rides. Great product and had no issues.

après instalation, puis inscription sur le site. j'ai activé l'app. après avoir mis mon code key, je lance l'app, mais elle cherche en vain ??locating...current none.needed: 200m.je suis très médiocre en anglais.pourtant tout c'est visiblement bien dérouler.mais, aurais-je oublié quelque chose?merci à vous
