This app is life changing. If you want to control your budget with visual pinache, this is the app for you. From awesome categorization to overall ease-of-use, Pennies really captures the esscense of a great budgeting program. Get it!

the tech support is not a function of this app...it does not exist...i bought and installed it and it is in english pounds with no way to change to american dollars...and no response from the makers...it also is not able to go back into individual days to or add items at a later date...if it were a more expensive app i'd ask for a refund...

This app is great until the month is over. It doesn't clear out after the month is over for the new month. I recomend getting the app "spend." doesn't look as nice but it atleast works for what's needed.

I liked the look of this app, with the fuel gauge providing a visual of where you stand in your budget. But like another review, it didn't change with a new month. Also when I try to export it, the keypad doesn't disappear so I can send the info to the email address entered. I'm hating that I spent money on this.

The app is buggy almost unusably, and has obviously been abandoned by the developer. I emailed the developer a month ago and never received a response. I am requesting a refund.

This application does not work at all. It does not do math right let you control anything or roll over the month.This app is broken don't waste your money on it because it looks good.

This is one of the best looking apps out there for this platform. Unfortunately, it fails to deliver a useful budget app as several functions are missing. *How to reset the month/ period.*Why round up/ down all figures. *Being able to input expenses after the day. *Customised expense entries, not just using what is in the app. *Allowing people to add sources of income.Subsequently, I've only ever used this app a handful of times despite buying it weeks ago. We need serious developers who want to blaze a trail. Updates please!

not worth the $3, not worth the download if it were free. there is no customization, no way to backup your data and restore it, and no real way of knowing how much money you have left. there are superior apps out there for budgeting. i am surprised WIRED magazine rated and reviewed this and gave it top stars. Skip this one and download something different.

I liked the clean interface. But it isn't resetting for a new month which is really frustrating. It is a waste of money. No response from customer service.

Abandoned?

It appears that this app has been all but abandoned by the dev. The UI is fantastic but the application is missing several key features: -You cannot change the date on expenses. This makes it difficult to truly track your daily spending as the stats will be skewed if you forget to enter even a single expense until the next day.- The exporting function is broken, if you click on this feature you can enter your e-mail address, but the submit/cancel buttons are obscured under the keyboard with no way to access them. This forces you to quit and reenter the app if you inadvertently click export.The simplicity and usability of the UI is really miles beyond the other expense tracking apps out there. The two major issues I outlined really kill this app though and I can't recommend it at all since it appears no updates or fixes are coming for this app.

Export feature is broken. The numeric pad partially covers the input screen accept/cancal buttons rendering it useless and forcing a complete shutdown. Don't buy till this is corrected.

Unable to export data!

Please fix it. The keyboard hides the ok and cancle buttons. I can do nothing but press the home button to exit. This is a stupid bug. It has not been fixed yet. Don't buy this.

Utter garbage

First they had a bug where where the app wouldn't roll over to the new year. Then they had a bug where the app wouldn't roll over to the new month. Considering this is an app to let you track your MONTHLY budget, these are pretty inexcusable. To top it off, you can't change the date of an entry either so forget about entering data until they fix the bug. I don't think they test anything.
