This is an awesome program! I love so many things about it & I love reading it daily in this well designed Bible app. I've used many platforms and Bible reading programs over the years and this is the best. If you like having The Word handy and even want to do an in depth study or note taking this surely will give you ALL you need. I cannot recommend it highly enough :) Thanks again for developing these modern tools for reading & studying the worlds most treasured words!UPDATE- Thank you very, very much for updating BR5 to maximize reading space & verse chooser. Very responsive team you have !I did appreciate the book feel of the book image before though (but not the space it took up) and noticed some apps simply using a static paper or parchment texture behind their text. May be a nice option for next minor update to have a couple textures to choose. Really though 5 stars, easy - even as it stands. My favorite app - period!

Resource Guide

Was mir richtig gut gefaellt, ist der Resource Guide. Den kann man kostenlos herunterladen, als ob er eine weitere Bibel wäre. Wenn man ihn im Zweitfenster öffnet, dann werden hier alle anderen Nachschlagewerke angezeigt, die Erläuterungen zu den Versen im Hauptfenster enthalten. Plus Optionen nach Hauptbegriffen des Hauptfensters zu suchen. Das klappt richtig gut mit einigen der Nachschlagewerke, die schon entsprechend indiziert sind. Es werden aber immer mehr.Toll finde ich auch die Updates: In der Bibliothek gibt es ganz unten die Option, nach Updates zu suchen. Und es gibt relativ viele Updates. Da ist ein Kommentar umfangreicher geworden. Oder die Verweise sind verbessert. Es lohnt sich, regelmäßig mal nachzuschauen.

Please bring back the grid verse chooser

The previous version was more user friendly. With the new scrolling feature for the verse finder, it takes longer the find verses now. The previous grid verse chooser was more intuitive. Also, the history function is cumbersome, the old version which allowed for toggling backwards and forwards between different parts of the bible was so much better. Also, the ability to search for highlighted verses according to colour codes is gone. Please restore these previous features!

Que bien que podamos tener la Biblia en nuestro Iphon, pero la única pega que veo, es que no esté la Reina Valera de 1960, ó también la de 1992, como ya las hay para las PDA's. Por favor, ¿podrían tratar de incluirlas, aunque fueran de pago? Muchas gracias, y que Dios les bendiga.

This has been my favorite and most-used Bible app for some time, and the latest version has some very nice updates to the interface and search functionality......BUT the developers have removed the best feature which set it apart from all other bible apps - the 3-touch-verse chooser, and have dropped back to a clunky slow scroll-wheel interface.I used to be able to bring up verses quickly during a bible study, but now I find myself preferring a hard-copy bible again because I can't bring up the verses quick enough. (please give us this option back again guys - even if it's a non-default option that can be changed in the app settings!!!)To be really effective, there needs to be a quick way to jump back and forth between recent passages like you can do in Safari.

Una app che dovrebbe fare tante cose, e le fa tutte malissimo. Oltretutto i vari pezzi da comprare (infatti da sola non serve a nulla) sono cari. Insomma restarne lontani. Meglio le app più semplici ed economiche e che funzionano.

Es una muy buena opción para los que quieren traer la biblia en el iPhone, solamente es un poco confuso el navegar, ya que trae las abreviaciones en ingles, pero con el tiempo se acostumbra uno. Me gustaría que en una actualización incluyeran la opción de copiar y pegar, ya que cuando quiero copiar un versiculo tengo que memorizar donde esta y luego buscarlo en otro programa o en biblegateway.com. Dios los bendiga, los guarde y tenga de ustedes misericordia :)

Why is the American standard version the same as the king James version.there is no such bible as the American standard version.is it because this is an American application?or because the Americans like to have there own bible?

Das Programm ist einfach hervorragend, sehr intuitiv und bietet nicht nur Bibeln an. Wenn man nach einem Vers sucht, klickt man davor auf das Buch, dann auf das Kapitel und schließlich auf den Vers. Die Darstellung (fast full-screen) fängt dann mit dem gewünschten Vers, wobei der restliche Text mit eingeblendet wird. Es gibt einige kostenlose Ressourcen, wobei fast alles nur auf Englisch verfügbar ist. Gängige Bibelübersetzungen (Gute Nachricht, Lutherbibel 1984, Hoffnung für alle) kann man auf der Website kaufen. Ein Account ist erforderlich. Leider ist die ganze Software auf Englisch.

Apesar das versões em PT-BR serem todas PAGAS, vale a pena esse app. Tem divisão da tela com duas traduções, anotações (muito útil), bookmark. Muito bom.

Al ser gratuita Es una excelente biblia y la recomiendo por mejorar debería tener más revisiones en español ya que algunas palabras son dificeles de entender dado su antigüedad así que ya no tienes excusa para no leerla pasa la voz y contribuye así a difundir el mensaje que el mundo nescesita

Wurde seit der ersten Version verbessert. Auch gibt es inzwischen weitere Bibelübersetzungen in deutsch. Auch die hervorragende Schlachterüberstzung von 1954 kann heruntergeladen werden. Leider die Schlachter 2000 nicht (siehe iHandibible). Texte in verschiedenen Farben markieren ist noch nicht möglich. Immer noch fehlt die Möglichkeit, Verse beginnend auf neuer Zeile darzustellen.

This is my favourite app! The only thing that is missing is brightness control within the app (like iBooks).Other than that, simply marvelous!! Well done :)
