Nice app with some shortcomings

Nice design and works as it's supposed to. One major shortcoming, which is not directly anapp issue but rather google translation engine it uses is that translated text appears in target language script so example Japanese translation will apear in Japanese script meanig if I was travelling and wanted to get something translated from English to Japanese to get directions the target translation will be unreadable by me since I don't know Japanese. I think that def is a big issue limitig usability. If I already knew the language I would need a translator would I?

It works on wifi only therefore it is useless in the real world for us iPod owners. An option to download a language for offline use would make this a much more useful app.

Can u make it work without wi-fi as well please, u don't find win-fi everywhere...other than that it's great. N oh yea it sometimes doesn't get some sentences, d hint thing shows up.
