This is working GREAT! We use in in China to get around. We just type in our destination or write a phrase indicating what we need and then show it to the people and they seem to understand. So far so good!

Ich habe mir die App runtergeladen, um das zu übersetzen, was in vielen App-Beschreibungen auf Englisch steht. Ich wurde bitter enttäuscht: nur etwa 1/3 aller eingegebenen Worte werden korrekt übersetzt, den Rest gibt das Programm einfach so wieder, wie man sie eingegeben hat. Davon abgesehen werden nicht mehrere Übersetzungsmöglichkeiten vorgeschlagen, sondern nur eine, die dann nicht immer auf den Text der App-Beschreibung passen. Tipp: funktioniert ein Wort nicht, versucht ein Synonym. Wenn ihr keins kennt...es gibt ja noch andere Apps, die übersetzen können!

I need a translator that can work without always being connected to the internet. This one needs the internet. I get an error message when I try to use it when I am not connected to a wireless provider. Need something for the ipod touch users!

Danke, dass es umsonst ist. Geld kann man dafür wirklich nicht nehmen, weil es zu viele Wörter nicht kennt, geschweige denn Sätze!

Die Idee ist ja ganz nett. Jedoch die Umsetzung.... .Sehr viele Wörter können nicht übersetzt werden. Die Probleme von der 2.0 Version scheinen nicht gelöst. Schade! Könnte ein nützliches app sein. Kostenloser Müll bleibt dennoch Müll.

When translating from English into German or French, 'Banana' fails, 'banana' works fine. Same problem with other words. Lack of consistancy fustrating

I don't know if this happened to anyone else but some languages don't translate. They stay in English both ways like Spanish and Italian. Phonetics would be good too.

This app could very well reach the top 10 most downloaded apps if it could translate verbaly also. It would smoke all the $7-$20 apps that can translate verbaly. I really think that you should definately consider this. It would give your app a huge BOOST
