Wow... I am amazed by the size and scope of iQuote, the depth and breadth of authors is just staggering. Yes it could be easier to search, using last names, more categories etc. However, I must implore anyone to get this based simply on its massive self-contained library of quotes. So many gems of wisdom, I could browse for days. This is culture, education and humor. My favorite section is Dan Quayle's, hoo-wee! Honestly, this app makes me feel sorry for people without iPhones.

If you need a quick way of learning some new quotes by famous people, get this app, it has a huge database. What I would like to see as well is a bookmarking function as well as a way to e-mail quotes to friends, then this would definitely get the 5 stars.

What is the point of the rating system. I see no section for top picks. It would be nice if new entries were sucked in via the Internet.

This app is great. I love it. I tried to add my own quotes in french but the special characters such as é-è-ä, etc. don't work at all. They don't show. That's too bad. It should be a good and easy fix.

But when I add something with Chinese character (because I'm a Chinese) , it will became garbled characters. So until now I only watch original data......Hope next version will solve this problem!

I REALLY enjoy your app but I would have given it the 5th star if you gave us the choice to scroll through all of them. The only choice we have now is random and because of it we get lots of repeats. It'd be more useful to be able to start at 1 and work yourself up. Also it'd be cool and it could start where you left off! Once you update this I will also update my review. Thanks!

This application has a wealth of quotations and is it's greatest asset. However, two limitations diminish it's value: (1) the authors are searched by their FIRST name (most users would know last names, but may not know author's first names), and (2) there is no ability to search the text of the quotes to find the author of a quote you have heard. The navigation could also be improved to diminish the flicking necessary to traverse long lists. Otherwise, IQuote is a good application and well worth the price.

I can tell this app is going to be very enjoyable, maybe even useful, but I am so disappointed to find that the authors are not alphabetized by last name--looking for Lewis? Check the C's for C.S. But if you want Carroll, go to the L's for Lewis--very strange and potentially very frustrating if you can't think of the authors first name or initial.

I of this app yesterday and it has a lot of awsome quotes on it and you can save your favorites. But the downfall is that you can't delete a lot. I wanted to delete all the ones I didn't like now it just sends me back to homescreen when I try. Otherwise awsome app.

mass deleting is a pain, i'd love to be able to either erase all the quotes or a mass deletion section so i can start creating a database of the quotes i want. other then that Great program and well worth the money

Reminds me of what happens to pointed questions asked of Obammy et al--the questions just disappear or, like Joe the Plummer, all of a sudden multiple state agencies are running you through their computers hoping to get "lucky" and hope you haven't paid this or that--it all amounts to whatever can't be made to disappear is blunted by smearing the person asking the questions....Oh, btw, this software item *BLOWS*. I'm sorry I bought it--COMPLETE waste of time (and money). I WANT A REFUND. I'll be shocked if this review isn't "moderated" away [read: disappears because the content wasn't "PC"]

There are over 9000 quotes in "other" and all you can do is scroll thru then one by one? I've given up... I'm beyond frustrated
