I have only just downloaded this app last week and thought it was a good addition for my iPod Touch but I agree that it still needs way more info and places added. Other than that it works really well, locating the area your in ect. And works in Australia too!.

Si no os funciona la búsqueda del código postal o ciudad, os recomiendo que espereis un tiempo. La he instalado por la mañana y no me funcionaba la búsqueda (tengo un ipod touch), ahora la acabó de probar de nuevo y para mi sorpresa es excelente, muy útil. Creo que si apagais el dispositivo también ayuda. La recomiendo, la mejor de su tipo, no me imagino los que tienen iPhone, será la caña para los viajes, ¡¡qué envidia!!

...was soll die scheiß Diskussion um die spyware? Around me is bei weitem nicht das einzige App das spioniert.wenn ihr 100% spyfrei bleiben wollt dann schmeißt sämtliche apps runter...www.gidf.de ;-)

It's good as a starting point if you're in an unfamiliar area, but do a search in a local yellow pages (dex knows comes to mind) for accuracy. This app pointed me towards a burger king in my neighborhood that went out of business about five years ago following a murder there which made headlines for weeks.

Pour faire simple:LILLE samedisoir 23H30 et Oh drame, les bierres diminuent à vue d'oeil. Je ne connais pas la ville, et là je tappe Superette sur Around me. Je vous passe les détails des résultats mais il m'indique a 648m de la une boutique du style a ouvrir tard la nuit. Je lance l'application GPS pour m'y rendre, et je me retouve chez un p'tit gars qui vend des biéres. Conclusion: soirée géniales avec munition pour toute la nuit. Merci a Iphone et Aroundme.

Finds all things in local area with ease. Only 1 small downside is the millage from your current location is 'as the crow flys' not driving millage. Some millage said 2miles (across bay) which would be 15 miles round on roads. But this is still an excellent app. This should be on every iPhone!

I like this app but every time they have an update I expect them to add ice cream shops and I'm disappointed. Of course, when I'm out of town or on vacation I want to know where the frozen confections can be found.

This is the first "Location" App that actually recognized where I am and found items around me. I'm in Antigonish, Nova Scotia - and this App gave me an accurate listing of all restaurants, banks & gas stations around me!
