Also ich bin begeistert! Die Applikation ist sehr schnell gestartet und man muß nicht mehr in den Browser wechseln. Direktes starten von google Maps (Route oder Standort) oder auch hinzufügen ins Adressbuch. Update: seit einigen Tagen kann auch locly ohne den Wechsel zu Safari auskommen.

I went to check my updates today AroundMe version 2.2.1 states "New Application Icon". Hardly a reason to make everyone download the program again.

Restaurants werden ab 44 bis 71 Kilometer Entfernung in Holland gefunden - kein einziges in direkter Nähe ???Ich erwarte für mein Geld kurzfristig ein Programm-Update !!!

I use this app all the time. I locate my destination, get directions, set the phone on my steering column where it fits snugly against the dashboard, and go! It's helped me find locations that were tucked back in complexes where I might have driven around and around and still never located.

Zeigt nicht meinen Standort an alles so um die 9000 Km entfernt unten links dreht sich das Rad aber es passiert nichts und ein Möglichkeit meinen Standort einzugeben habe ich nicht gefunden.

.. Schaut euch mal Locly an. Wesentlich besser. AroundMe sucht weniger und hat lediglich ein Deutsches Interface, sonst aber Null Funktion. Noch nicht mal der Umkreis läßt sich einstellen:(

In ganz Dortmund gibt es nur 1 Restaurant. Dafür in Holland jede Menge. Ärgere mich das Geld ausgegeben zu haben. Locly findet wesentlich mehr.

Use it all the time, never crashes. Go from downtown l.a. to hollywood to Pasadena and Ventura. Always find a place to eat, put gas, get by car washed. Luv it. :)

Great App! But, the upgrade is the new icon? Seems like a downgrade when the old icon was way cooler. Bring it back!

Selbst ohne atuelle GPS und GSM Positionsbstimmung ist das Programm toll. Ich sitz hier zuhause und hab NUR WLAN, dennoch ermittelt das App innerhalb Sekunden die nächsten Kinos im Umkreis von etwa 2KM - und das ist sehr genau an meinem Wohnort.Allein dass nicht extra über Internet wie bei Locly abgefragt wird und die Daten innerhalb weniger Sekunden angezeigt sind ist ein Punkt für die App. Auch weil wirklich jede Menge lokal passender Daten geliefert werden. Die Investition lohn sich wirklich.

All the people whining about the ads need to grow up. First off, the makers of this excellent app should get paid. And some of you apparently are willing to pay a buck or two to not have ads. But guess what? Most people are not willing to. And by including ads they are able to get this app out to more people, while making a few bucks. Lastly, I feel like most of you have not even updated to see the ads yet. They are so unintrusive, I dont even notice them. I had 2.0. I could have not updated, but I intentionally did in order to support the developer.
