This app works well in Los Angeles. It does a good job of consolidating many different finder apps for movie theaters, bars, restaurants, taxis, banks, etc. Two complaints though. First it seems to exit the app everytime I try to search for BANKS. It worked the first time, but not since. Second, I would replace that BurgerTime icon with something a bit more polished!

The program quits when I click on restaurants, its very dissapointing. The program it's a great app to have, but is only worth having if it fully works. Hope that a new update will fix the bug

We travel quite a bit and this app is great. It has a good layout/format. I wish I could add locations that arent in there.

I love it the only thing since I have it on my itouch I depend on wifi and if I'm in the street and want to know where I could find banks etc it doesn't work

Absolutely amazing! 1) It does what it says it will do. 2) It doesn't constantly crash as many other apps do. 3) Free! I've been looking for a product like this and tried many - I was let down by all of them - they don't do what they say they will, they constantly crash, or, too difficult to use. This one is a breeze! Thank you Tweakersoft!

Liked it except it didn't correctly give my position. It had me as being about 20 miles from where I actually was. That could be a bit of a problem.....

This app works awesome, even in small towns like where I live!!! Another plus, IT'S BLAZING FAST! And, if you find what you're looking for you can tap "show a route" and it takes you to Google maps and does turn by turn directions. It also finds where you are based on the GPS in your 3G, which makes it way easier than tapping in a location.

I think it's do for a little more tweeking. According to this app. I'm not that far from the Kingdome which was imploded hhhmm I don't know... 10 years ago.

It's OK - Why not use Showtimes and Yellow Pages?

This app is dece. It finds things in my area pretty well. But I don't understand why I wouldn't just use Showtimes to find movies b/c it way more in-depth. And Yellow Pages seems to be more dependable. If I was looking for something specific, why would I use AroundMe? Yellow Pages is a lot better at finding something specific.

I really like this application. The biggest complaint I have is that you are only limited to the items within about 3 miles of your location. For example, I was looking for a resturant that I knew was about 5 miles away. The application did not show it, thus I could not find it. A great feature would be to add a distance stop point. i.e. search from your current location up to a distance to select, 1,3,5,10 miles.

so i leave town go hundreds of miles away from home and around me couldn't seem to get the sense of direction correct..it's kool to know wats near you but the directions just weren't to acurate could be better

Missing Radius Configuration

It works great besides updates for a couple of places are needed. It will be really nice to add, at the end off the found list, an option to find more places at further distances...Great visibility identifying the places in a list, something that Google Pins don,t have.

First off: for a free app - 5 stars. That being said. Please add on the home page a personalized search option so you can choose something more detailed then what you have. Also, once you choose one of the options that are there, please add the ability to refine the search. For instance, choose restaurants and then after your choices come up be able research just Italian restaurants. Lastly, please let us edit what we have as our choices to search what's around us. If we could decide what we want to search and then decide the catagories on start-up that would really personalize this app to a whole new level.

I love this app. The only thing I wish they update it with is that after you connect to WiFi and update your location, it should save all the results to your cache so you can launch the app and view the items when not connected to WiFi.
