Useless outside the US

I purchased it (and some others) in the hopes of using it in London. It could not figure out where I was unless I was in our hotel room (where there was a wifi connection). On the street, nothing. Even though it knew my location half an hour prior in the hotel room. If you don't want to pay for data roaming overseas...and that's where you ant to use this application...look elsewhere.

This used to be a great app.Recent versions of Around Me only display a subset of available local services (eg ATMs and Petrol Stations). It used to display everything. Do service providers have to pay you to be included. Me I used to use this all the time. Now I've trashed it as useless. I would prefer to pay and get an app that is of use to me. In its current shape it is of no use at all.

Muss meinem Vorredner recht geben. Diese Software sendet persönliche Daten an Pinchmedia und egal mit welcher Stellungsnahme sie versuchen das herunter zu spielen, wenn eine Software private Daten sammelt ist und bleibt es SPYWARE!!!

Hier im Thurgau/CH findet die App. leider nach dem Update gar nichts mehr, alles deutet Richtung Deutschland hin. Hier in der Schweiz gibt es weder Apotheken noch Banken usw. Schade...

Het is dat je minimaal een ster moet uitdelen, een halve is nog teveel. En dat terwijl het idee toch zo goed is. Helaas laat de uitvoering te wensen over. Op weg naar de dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt moet ik beslist m'n paspoort niet vergeten en ben ik blij dat ik een klein beetje Duits spreek. Slechts 5 tot 10% van de banken wordt correct weergegeven en da's ècht te weinig. Gelukkig geen geld aan uitgegeven, weg ermee.. 

I was waiting in traffic and checked if this app works in elsternwick, melb. Searched for the nearest petrol station when infact I was next to one and it said 69 kms is the nearest one haha. Go figure. Didn't bother searching for anything else after that.
