I cant seem to find the option of going invisible using Yahoo Messenger. This is essential for me as i dont want to be bombarded by messages when i go online using my iphone. Typing is hard enough as it is. Also, im not sure if it can retrieve offline messages. Again, this review is just for Yahoo Messenger chat.

Downloaded this app to try for free and login to MSN, my contacts see me as "you-areblocked.com - Find out who's blocking you" and such adware nonsense. Removed this app immediately due to past experiences with apps and sites associated with password hijacking via MSN. Be wary of this app!!!

Im großen und ganzen ein tolles Tool, was viele Chatprovider (googletalk, skype, yahoo,...) unterstützt. Was ich nachteilig finde, ist das sämtliche Kontakte aus dem Telefonbuch übernommen werden und die Buddy-Liste nicht gepflegt werden kann - es können keine Kontakte gelöscht werden. Manchmal stimmt die Anwesenheitsanzeige nicht, was besonders die deutschen gmail-Adressen betrifft. Hier sind meine Kontakte zum Bsp. auf Daueraktiv, es sei denn ich habe Frings so lange an, bis sich mein Kontakt abgemeldet hat. Melde ich mich vorher ab, bleibt der Kontakt auf anwesend. Das kann ziemlich verwirrend sein. Aber alles in allem ist Fring ein gutes Tool.

No funciona el video de iPhone a iPhone. No se si funcionara desde iPhone a ordenador. Pero no funciona muy bien ni en las llamadas sin video. No apareces como conectado algunas veces. No me gusta... Prefiero skype.

the first time i installed using previous versions had blue-tooth problem for iPod songs and videos on my iPhone. This version made my iPhone videos out of sync when using bluetooth...i had to restore my iphone because of fring...Caused me problems 2 times big time...

The push notification makes it cool. I don' t know how long it keeps the online status. It doesn't last for days according to my experience.
