Works ok but hates group chats, crashes if too many messages are sent while offline and splits group chats into individual conversations, making it rather useless in this context!

Fring is a bit behind most of the other similar software hence s and added another  for the push it's awesome I will finally give  when at least if we can send and recive files. 

Aber leider kein Push! Deswegen benutzt ich jetzt IM. Nur da gibt es ein paar Funtionen nicht wie VoIP. Hoffe aud Update mit Push dann würde ich es wieder benutzen. Aber auch in der Beschreibung steht nichts von Push, das können zurzeit nur IM und Bejieve.

Inconsistent and doesn't work well

Positives: Nice interface. App is well organized. Many IM clients are supported. Negatives: This app only works sporadicaly. Either the push notifications do not work or I only receive notifications at random. Unfortunately, this alone eliminates the usefulness of this app as if you can't rely on it to communicate in a way that's effective.

Fring no Touch..

O programa é maravilhoso só que para usa-lo no Touch, só para "chat" é um desperdício! Outros programas tb fazem o mesmo. O ideal é usa-lo para "falar". Existe algum adaptador que tenha essa opção? Nesse novo Touch (2ª geração) é possível pq já existe um mic interno. Será que alguém pode esclarecer essa minha dúvida?

J'ai décidé de passer chez Fring et de quitter Palringo qui lui bug beaucoup trop. Avec Fring, comme avec Palringo, quand on reçoit un message on est immdiatement notifier par un petit son. De plus, Fring garde l'historique de conversation (très pratique, surtout avec le copier/coller) ! Cependant, à côté de Palringo, Fring manque cruellement de plusieurs fonctions telles le changement de statut pour Msn, le changement de pseudo (Fring reprend le pseudo que vous utlisez sur votre ordinateur) et du message personnel. La fonction recherche de contact reste mauvaise, on ne peut pas chercher de contact en fonction de leur adresse Msn, il faut rentrer leur pseudo en commencant par le début du pseudo (difficile lorsque les contacts utlisent Msn+). Il manque aussi l'affichage des smileys basiques. J'ai bien cherché mais on ne peut pas se déconnecter de Msn, même quand on quitte l'application... En résumé, pour ceux qui ne veulent aucun bug et qui ne veulent pas payer pour avoir Msn sur leur mobile, prenez Fring mais sachez qu'il manquera beaucoup de fonctions existentielle. 4 étoiles : nécessite une mise à jour au plus vite !

Nice app, but clumsy buddy list

Complete address book in buddy list seems a bit clumsy to me. Would be better if it integrated into iPhone Contacts (all my contacts in Skype have their skype name in their Address Book entry). Also I can't find a way to remove entries (fring test call for instance) from my buddy list.

This app would take too long to connect or not connect at all. Calls have a lag so conversations are tough. I just downloaded Skype (US account) and it is awesome. I would skip this and get skype instead

Aparte de conectar con Messenger y Skype puedes hacer llamadas atraves de Voip, y si te registras en VoipBuster podras hacer llamadas a fijos gratis desde el pc o desde tu iPhone. Lo recomiendo.

This app is probably the best voip capable app out there. It turns your iPhone in a $200+ wi-fi phone for skype.The audio quality is good enough, and the UI is very simple. It would be nice to have landscape keyboard in a future update, for a better messaging experience.This little piece of artwork saved me a few times when I needed to call overseas for a 30 minute conference call, but I didn't want to make a hole in my wallet.Very nice app!
