@Gaffel: das liegt nicht an Fring, sondern an Apple. Aber ich kann den Grund verstehen. Nachher haben die Leute dann 50 Apps im Hintergrund laufen und beschweren sich dann (natürlich bei Apple, wem sonst) darüber, dass ihr Akku so schnell leer geht und das iPhone ruckelt. Und dann wird unter solche Kommentare immer noch ein: "Ich habe soundsoviel € für mein iPhone/iPod Touch bezahlt, dann erwarte ich auch, dass es einwandfrei funktionert!" usw. . Ich hoffe, dass Apple die Sperre n i c h t aufhebt, sonst verkommen die ungeknackten iPhones und Touches zu komplett zugemüllten Ruckelmaschinen. Holt euch ein BlackBerry, wenn ihr wollt, dass der Prozessor nicht mehr mitmacht und das OS einknickt.

Ho scaricato Fring e in poco più di trenta secondi avevo configurato Skype, MSN, AIMe udite udite Euteliavoip per fare le chiamate in Voip (chiaramente solo in WiFI). Non solo ma tutti i contatti residenti sul Mac li vedo immediatamente, cosa che normalmente non succede se cambi postazione e ti colleghi da un altro computer.L'unica pecca che ho notato è il consumo smisurato di batteria ma credo che questo problema sia del nostro gioiello, più che dell'applicazione. Le chaimate in Voip sono chiare e precise. Un unico consiglio (sempre che sia stato io a non trovare il menu relativo) la possibilità di cancellare le conversazioni telefoniche vecchie.

I've had nothing but trouble with fring, it always plays up, never loads quickly, and spams my email with rubbish! I recommend everyone to stay clear of this app....

Bin begeistert! WLAN im Hotel und jeden Skype Kontakt völlig unkompliziert und kostenlos anrufen :-) Braucht nur beim anmelden ab und an einen Moment. Bin nicht sicher ob das an Fring oder der Skype-Anmeldung liegt. Trotzdem absolut zu empfehlen!

No landscape mode..,

I deleted this app long back and moved to Nimbuzz long back due to landscape mode support. However if fring comes back with landscape mode support I will install it again. The good thing about fring is I can have more than one gtalk account at once which is not there in Nimbuzz.

Certe, une bonne appli qui marche bien, parfois long a charger (pour se connecter) mais suffît d'être patient. J'enlève 2 étoiles a cause du disign, et la qualité assez mudeocre du son en appel comparé a ses concurentd tel que Nimbuzz... Et pour certain...c'est normal que les appels ne marche pas en 3G sûr skype ou d'autres services...ceci ont besoin d'être connecter par wifi, car qui dit VoIP dit IP et qui dit IP dit modem...et qui dit modem dit wifi... Pour la SIP, je ne sais pas trop par contre

bella app. ma le kiamate via 3g nn le permettono gli operatori..manca lo stato,nn si possono inviare messagi di gruppo,nn c sn le emoticon e nn si possono inviare file..e molto migliorabile,spero in un aggiornamento cn più funzionalita.cmq da scaricare anke xkè e gratis. Aggiornamento: il nr.2 dei programmi gratis x chattare,a me sembra ke nell'app. Store ci siano un casino di truffatori,c sn app ke costano una marea di € e fanno skifo..meno male ke c'è anke gente onesta cm i programmatori di fring!!grazie mille!!!! Ps: e poi ce "gente" ke si lamenta xkè si qualcuno sblocca l'iphone! Aggiornamento nr.2: please aggiungete le kiamate su yahoo..

Improve call quality

I use Fring to access the phone system using SIP. I find that Fring on the iPhone has very poor call quality compared to using hardware and software SIP clients over the same Internet connection. This is a shame. Not sure if it is because Fring is using a bad voice codec or whether it's due to limited processing power on the iPhone or some other reason. Slightly annoying as I tend to use the other clients for the better voice quality while I would prefer to use Fring on my iPhone if all things were equal.

Impossible d'émettre des appels voix via la 3G (merci orange ,leader de la téléphonie mobile et aux moyens financier colossaux,juste pour pas oublier ) IM+ lui il marche même en GPRS sic et pas moyen ici de changer son status.Tres bon app quand même. A quand les SMS et une meilleur qualité de trasmission ?

It's a fairly good app, msn works. but I used skype to phone my house and it worked great! But then I tried to call my house again and it terminated the call it did this 20 times and still no luck. That right ticks me off.
