Ist ein sehr guter Anfang! Sounds und vibrationen sollten sich abschalten lassen um Akku und nerven zu sparen finde ich. Toll finde ich den zusammenschluss von allem großen instant-messengern in einem iPhone App! Weiter so!

FRING surprised the s out of me. This is exactly what every iPhone user needs. With an app like this, iPhone competes with Blackberry on push notification. It uses the web though, so those complaining about push not working are either out of service or what. The best thing, you get the number bubble in the corner of the app icon... and you get a preview like you do with all text messages, IE "_____ has sent you a message" so you know who... and you can either close it or answer it via the preview screen. I've been using this for 2 weeks with ZERO problems. It EASILY merges twitter, AOL, MSN, Gtalk, Yahoo, ICQ and SKYPE accounts! You can even skype directly through the thing. And, if you don't have a skype account you can use provided SIP accounts for calling. Call quality on skype is great too, exactly like using skype. (only with WiFi though, no 3G access... but that's apple's restrictions) Seriously, download it. Best app.

I realize this was free, however, the reason everyone was waiting for this app was for VOIP. 1 to 2 second lag, which is unbearable. Has some wonderful potential but not the sip client for iPhone I was hoping for

It's okay for msn to have quick chat or something but a few more option could be added overall the app has a lot of potentional! and it's free :p

Ich bin froh dass es endlich da is! War auf meinem N95 schon total zurieden, hier find ichs nur schade dass ein paar Einstellmöglichkeiten fehlen, wie z.B. das Ausblenden der Telefonkontakte... Ausserdem wärs toll, wenn FRING auch im Hintergrund laufen würde! Ansonsten perfekt!

nikel avec free, mes parents cache le combiné car japel trop sur les portables mais désormais c'est moi le patron. L'appli est moche mais marche nikel,jmen sert sur free, moi qui n'y connaîi pas grand chose j'utilise une technique de ouf pour utiliser la ligne de cher moi!

The aim on here is not laggy like some other apps so it's great but it still says some of my buddies are online when I know they are not so it's very confusing. Also it would be nice if I could add a picture to my profile from my iPod. And if I could see my buddies' aim profiles. Otherwise, this app does exactly what I need it to do. I love it! 

Almost perfect for me anyway, using msn messenger, only thing wish it would do is have it running in the background but it's not apps problem. Only gave it 4 stars because there could be more options for msn.

I have found a solution to a big problem, the problem being not able to record on a 1st gen ipod touch without jailbreaking your ipod. For this to work, you must have the 2.2 ipod software. Then buy an "ivoice3" microphone. this microphone works fine with the ipod touch 1st gen. You can now use the talking part of fring. It also works with other apps, apart from truphone which is not compatible with 1st gen. Miracles do happen. One last point, FRING IS FREE AND IT ROCKS!!! I hope this was helpful.

Bei mir hat aller sofort funktioniert und ich konnte mich sogar mit meinem fring Namen aus der früheren version (installer) Anmelden. Also für mich ein perfekter App!!! 5 von 5
