Brings VoIP to the iPod Touch

I mainly use this for Skype on my iPod Touch when I'm at the University of Canterbury to contact my family as I'm really cheap and would rather not pay for calls or txts. Works fine with my self-made mic/earphone combo or my $90 iPod 5G mic(which Apple made compatible with iPod Touch 2.2). Logging in to Skype is a pain tho, it would take up to 1 minute to login to Skype even after being logged in to the fring server(if it ever does).

2-way videocalling?

The app is simply wonderful but why you didn't introduce 2-way videocalling.Doesn't matter if we don't have front camera, we want this features.I'll give you 5 stars when it'll be introduced.L'applicazione è semplicemente meravigliosa ma perché non avete introdotto la videochiamata a due vie?Non importa se non abbiamo la fotocamera frontale, vogliamo questa funzione.Vi darò 5 stelle quando sarà introdotta.

Realmente funciona ok-line porque envía y recibe al instante .se pueden recibir mensajes teniendo el teléfono con la pantalla apagada

Muy buena aplicación. Pero le falta agregar la opción de Altavoz, cuando se hacen llamadas por IP (como en los Nokia). En lo demás perfecto

Pros: Wonderful interface! Great response times. Good voice clarity. Near realtime status updates. Cons: Echo reported on the listener end. No support for Interactive Voice Response via Dailer.

Ich habe nun beide Programme auf meinem iPhone. Bei Fring komme ich nicht mal in den chat Modus für skype. Ich gebe eindeutig nimbuzz den vorzug. Auch scheint dort die sync der Kontakte viel besser zu funktionieren.

This could be a very useful app - I was actually able to make a skype to skype call using Fring over 3G. Sometimes it doesn't let me do it and says WiFi is needed, other times the skype call connects over 3G. Full time VOIP over 3G and facebook chat would make this a killer app.
