This app automatically takes your contacts without asking. Didn't know if now my private contacts are on some idiot's server somewhere. Also, you cant edit a SIP (VoIP) once it is in there. You have to delete the app and start over again. Very, very shady and poorly designed app. Avoid!

hey fring developers... i have question on your fring application, i noticed that whenever i log out from fring on my iphone and check it on my wife's PC i notice that i am still online even i'm no longer logged in and it will be automically loggged out wihtin 5 mins. I am bothered with this because when i am using fring on my iphone it is via WIFI and usuually when i log out from fring i simultaneously turn off my WIFI, so if i am not completely logged out from fring and my WIFI is turned off then my iphone will be connected via 3G and EDGE which is not free thus i will be charged. Kindly check on this because i am avoiding to have extra charges. I just want to suggest that when logging out from fring chat i will be simultanouesly logged out from my iphone and it's PC counterpart whom i am communicating with.

Really nice app for voip use and chatCombines all programs in one. I use voipbuster for sip and call the whole world ( almost ) for free. Very handy when abroad. The contact search engine is horrible for extended use thow. Would like an adress book style search. Also sometimes it takes a minute to log in that could be faster

I love this thing very much so easy to use! I have tried this on my iPod touch and it worked apart from no one can hear me talking LOL getting an iphone tomorrow! Thanks for sharing!

Am instalat si cand sa-mi fac un cont imi tot spune ca adresa de email nu este valida. Am incercat cu alta adresa si tot asa... Ambele adrese sunt valide si le folosesc zi de zi.
