Reviews:
Needs more for the money By: Funkymonkeyboy216 - 29-Sep-2008 Version: 1.1 I would like to see more stats and a better interface for the money. But a good app only problem is it still crashes with GPRS.
Back of the net!! By: Stu Cash - 28-Sep-2008 Version: 1.1 This is a cracking app!! As walshy put it, it's a little dynamo!!
#1 footy app!!! By: Pars fan - 28-Sep-2008 Version: 1.1 What an awesome app!Definitely the best footy app out there, handy as hell, especially if you have a coupon on! :DCan do with the Scottish First Division on it though lol! ;-)Buy it, worth every penny!
Myfootball By: Walshy2307 - 28-Sep-2008 Version: 1.1 Superb a pocket dynamo!!!
Excellent By: THcys - 28-Sep-2008 Version: 1.1 Anyone rating this a 1 star must be friends of the developer of the iFooty App. It is an absolute no contest between the two. So much so I have gotten rid of iFooty. This has Live updates from all games on one screen, it has full and complete tables (not the dumbed down summary from iFooty), and it has Champions League and UEFA cup as well (plus pretty much any other League). It works very well and is intuitve to use. The only small problem is that you have to select the Premiership from a main screen whenever you start it up. Otherwise, pretty much perfect.
Great App, needs a bit more to make it Number 1 By: iPhone Junkee - 28-Sep-2008 Version: 1.1 Just what the Dr ordered. Excellent App, having tried several, in my opinion, this is by far the best. Has a very user friendly menu which can be personalized to your liking. I absolutely agree with “funkyape”, would definitely like to be able to view previous results easily, in fact all funkyape's suggestions are good, and “sonola777”, a News section is a must, if their suggestions are added, this App will be the absolute number 1. I'm sure the developers will keep improving the App as it gets more popular. Keep up the good work. Since writing this review I have had cause to contact the support for some info, I am just as impressed with the support as the app. Lightning response time, within in the hour!!!! If you could rate the support I'd give it a 5, well done & thanks.
Good but missing the Scottish League 1 By: Agentw - 27-Sep-2008 Version: 1.1 I like the application but it is missing my team, Livingston, in the Scottish Leage division 1
Excellent By: digbyp - 25-Sep-2008 Version: 1.1 Well done and thought out. No other app provides history of leagues. Recent update 24 Sep 08 enhances further. Excellent and quick response from support. If you have issues or requests, email, this will help to make the app even better for all of us.
Good but could be better By: funkyape - 23-Sep-2008 Version: 1.0 Used iFooty but this generally feels a bit more 'complete'. There are some obvious obmissions and strange quirks that need improving to make this the best football app though.1. Strangly it is really difficult to view the previous weeks results? Perhaps side swipes left and right to go back through the earlier seasons' games? I went to check results on a sunday evening (after the sunday games) and the fixtures/results list had already updated to the following weekend...2. Bits from iFooty that I miss are the ability to have live match text streams and 'your team' daily news. However one of the major plus points of this over iFooty is the ability to easily view the whole league current live scores all together.3. One other slight annoyance is that I think the 'history' is the wrong way round?! Start with the previous years and put the older stuff at the bottom. I found myself interested to view results over the past few seasons but not unlikely to look way back through history? Minor annoyance.
Better than iFooty By: N1GHTFALL - 21-Sep-2008 Version: 1.4 Only use ifooty now for commentary on wonderful Wolves matches. This is everything ifooty was missing and more.
Brilliant stuff. See all scores for a league.
Missing the Scottish premier league By: Wapdtm - 21-Sep-2008 Version: 1.0 Needs to have the SPL included before it can be considered better than iFooty
Nearly there... By: Sonola777 - 21-Sep-2008 Version: 1.4 But there's a couple things missing that could really make this app the "special one". First it's missing a news section, which of course ifooty has. Also it would be nice if it let you pick your favourite team and follow them. It's also missing a live match description and there's a problem when scrolling that sees the team logos flickering out of position. Fix all this in an update and it's easily five stars!
Great app better than iFooty on all but one thing By: Dave Maiden - 21-Sep-2008 Version: 1.0 Really good league tables and stats. Its worth the money over the free ifooty.I footy is currently lacking a screen that shows live scores for all games happening now, or in a certain league. My football does this. The only thing it doesnt do is have live text updates of games, and for this reason I am giving it four stars and having ifooty installed also.Great first release, does suffer from the odd crash out I've noticed.
Top app By: Big S - 20-Sep-2008 Version: 1.0 Well this has just moved ahead of I footy shame they can't provide fixtures but this is streets ahead and with history on top well done
Nice App By: The_Head - 20-Sep-2008 Version: 1.0 Better than iFootie, simple to use, only little gripe is in the history section, when viewing the league table, the heading text is missing, so it doesn't show the year you are currently viewing.
Bang on By: Ollyplastic11 - 20-Sep-2008 Version: 1.0 This app is what apps should be like bang on the money. Everything you need in one tap of the finger. Keep up the top notch work !!!!
Excellent By: r88my - 20-Sep-2008 Version: 1.4 This app is just what us football fans needed. It reminds me of football manager for some reason. Has fixtures, the history section is nice and of course the killer feature is that you can see live scores by league (e.g premiership). I'm glad it doesn't have news feeds, as I don't really want to know if Steven gerrard scratches his bum. If they do add news feeds, please have a mark all as read option. Also has line ups, subs, cautions & goals in match view. However there is one glaring omission; match commentry. Ifooty has this. This is one area in which ifooty is better, other than that this app is much better than ifooty. When push notification for 3rd party apps finally hits, I hope to see some kind of goal notification popup withcertain matches or leagues.
