Not bad for on-camera manipulation. I originally bought it because of the boasted holga and lomo effects; much to my own chagrin the processes don't really reflect the formats at all. Maybe a cross processing filter would be cool, otherwise the only actual effects this app executes are all just modifications of the photo's saturation. The fisheye sounded cooler than it actually is. I could do without it. Overall I'd say it's so-so. GUI needs an overhaul, and filters could use improvements.

I really enjoy using this App, but please bring back the scaling of the 1962 filter to the way it was in the previous version, and PLEASE never mess with the INFRARED filter, it is the best feature of this APP!

i paid $2.99 for the instant setting and it has been taken away. please return either the instant setting or give me my money back. it is, simply, not the same product.

[updated] didn't realize that the Polaroid border was changed for legal reasons. Reverting back to the 5 stars the app deserves. ----------- Great app, no idea why you would screw up the most popular effect.

I've never written a review for anything in my life but this application has been a total disappointment. not because the filters aren't cool and useful -- in fact, they are. But because the application continuously crashed and when I installed the updated version and tried to launch it, my iphone immediately froze up. Not worth the hassle, in my view.

I would've given this app 5 stars, but I went to use it this morning, and my polaroid filter was gone!!! What a tragedy!!! Bring it back and I'd give it a 5 star review.

I absolutely LOVE this application, but I'm seriously disappointed by this last update...we lost 'ansel' which was one of my favorites, 'instant' is not right, all in all this is a wonderful app, but please bring back the old fomat. Add filters, don't get rid of good ones.

Grow some balls and bring back instant.

This is my most used app. Love it! Great job! The new filters are great - and they are responsive and updates have been consistent.They had to change the border on the old "instant" filter becuase of posible legal action I guess. The Apple store stopped them and other companies from using the border. But the filter is exactly the same. This is the best photo app out there. I use this everyday, and recommend it VERY highly!!

First time I have reviewed because I can't believe that my favourite app is getting character assasinated. The Nevercenter crew were forced by Apple to change the Instant filter - because they were concerned that there was a potential legal issue with the presentation of that filter. Far more important - they have really helped the stability of the app in this version - I could not take a photo in app without it crashing. It now works great. I just hope Apple and Nevercenter get this sorted because the instant filter is a crucial part of this app - Nevercentre did not want to do this! Please, don't crucify an app until you have the full story @Ed_Dale

People, there is legal action that caused Apple to force Camerabag to change the old "instant" filter. Camerabag claims to be actively working on getting the old "instant" filter back. I'll wait for them to get everyhing set right. In the mean time I LOVE the new magazine filter and the speed improvements.

The quality is noticably better and I like the variety in filters But PLEASE BRING THE OLD INSTANT FILTER BACK! It no longer looks like an instant photo and I really don't like the side-border thing. Please put it back!
