Top App By: gardner12 - Sep 23, 2009 Version: 1.4.2 Top medical reference in a quick access style.
great app! By: hubert.luke - Sep 22, 2009 Version: 1.4.2 Medical references and style are really good.
nice one By: Heath_J - Sep 21, 2009 Version: 1.4.2 a must app
A Great Tool! By: Nurse_Charli - Sep 17, 2009 Version: 1.3.3 I am an RN in the ICU. I use this just about everyday. A quick reference, that is in my pocket available (no hunting down the books). A real time saver! I recommend to anyone in the nursing field.
You sometimes get what you pay for By: wig picker - Sep 7, 2009 Version: 1.3.3 Too dificult to download- wiped it off my iphone. They are always trying to sell me additional products. Medscape and epocrates more user friendly.
Cardio By: Paulm_drive - Sep 7, 2009 Version: 1.3.3 I love skyscape..all books are great and working.. Very good mobile library for me..
Utterly worthless By: Dr. Frisby - Sep 3, 2009 Version: 1.3.3 Epocrates is the superior app. Skyscape's interface is cumbersome and the information of dubious value.
TOTAL RIP-OFF By: RN Paramedic - Aug 25, 2009 Version: 1.3.3 Skyscape is a complete rip-off!!! I've owned Palm, Blackberry, and now Iphone. When I switched to BB, I was able to fight to get some of my products transferred, but with IPhone, you can't transfer at all. I feel that if I buy a book, I have that book forever. It's my responsibility if I use "outdated" info. If I buy a movie on VHF, as long as I maintain it and my VCR, I'll have it forever. Skyscape makes you spend you're hard-earned money over and over again. The convenience of e-books is wonderful, but I'll carry my blackberry in my bag to check my old Tabors for reviewing some rare disease info.
The most difficult application on any platform By: Tennessee Tunes - Aug 22, 2009 Version: 1.3.3 I have used Skyscape products on my Mac, PC, Palm and now iPhone...the worst part is the complicated and poorly documented installation process. I you get it installed, you then must navigate the multiple layers of the mobile apps to find your information. Most of the multitudes of free or low cost resources are worthless and a waste of time, I would never buy anything else from Skyscape except that they are the only vendor for the previously free Johns Hopkins ABX Guide, a truly valuable resource. It is available free on the web, but not accessible by mobile device.
Unbelievalbe nice and useful ... for me! By: Colorful Sean in New York - Aug 21, 2009 Version: 1.3.3 It is soooooooooo nice to have this one in my iPod Touch!!! Thanks!!
Activation problems By: zhemingway - Aug 20, 2009 Version: 1.3.3 I ran into a lot of activation problems.
Awesome By: fallen123 - Aug 15, 2009 Version: 1.3.3 Best app ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
physical therapy By: jtnr - Aug 13, 2009 Version: 1.3.3 just want to know when you will put the The Rehabilitation Specialist's Handbook and Evidence Based Medicine Guidelines - Physical Medicine and Orthopaedics for iphone
Standard Versions now Available!!! By: PDA Fan - Aug 7, 2009 Version: 1.3.3 Have been a happy user of this amazing app for about 4 months now and thrilled that they have now introduced both standard and subscription version of their resources.I am pleased to note that Skyscape has acted on users feedback about standard version (own for life) of resources not being available on the iPhone. They are now offering *both* the standard and subscription version of all their resources.I am sure this will make a lot of us happy.----------------Original Review posted on 10/07/08------------------------FINALLY it is here!. Have been waiting for this since since AppStore went live. And has the wait been worth it? I just have one word WOW!!!.
Best medical references for iPhone By: lukner - Aug 7, 2009 Version: 1.3.3 The top medical references in a quick-access style. They have many good titles that are very useful for most fields in medicine. Only downside is that the books are expensive.
a shame... By: MC, ND - Aug 7, 2009 Version: 1.3.3 It's nice, when it actually works. It has failed to operate twice at work. I've checked the system, the phone, the stars, etc. This could be really awesome, I love hopkins abx guide, guess I'll need to use it online.
Wonderful, especially for nursing or Medical assistants By: kathtus - Aug 6, 2009 Version: 1.2.9 I LOVE this application. I am an info junkie as well and work as a technician in the medical field. I love to be able to look up what I want that's medically related. Great application.
It's a real App for a MD By: Rodrigo007 - Aug 2, 2009 Version: 1.2.9 Only expensive to get more resourses
Care needed buying other applications with this By: EliotN - Aug 1, 2009 Version: 1.2.9 I ordered their Johns Hopkins antibiotic application through this application. The order said there was a credit card problem and that the card was not charged. I reordered it assuming I had entered something incorrectly. The same thing happened. There was no problem with the order and in fact I got charged for it twice. The company readily removed the extra charge.
skyscape Medical resources By: gloinak - Jul 28, 2009 Version: 1.2.9 Wow. This has lots of medications with details, updates in emergency medicine, lab vaules and more and more. For free!!This is better than the program I paid a couple of hundred dollars for a couple of years ago. I have been using it already (I am a field paramedic), and it is fast, easy, and extensive.
Worthless By: Zozo, MD - Jul 26, 2009 Version: 1.2.9 Too massive and confusing
