Worthless By: Zozo, MD - Jul 26, 2009 Version: 1.2.9 Too massive and confusing
Becareful By: Whatever Nick name - Jul 13, 2009 Version: 1.2.9 The new upgrade version will restrict the use of the current one so that we have to buy it.
Just not worth the bother By: C Brown, MD - Jul 10, 2009 Version: 1.2.5 Pro's: access to lots of very good content.Con's: But you can't get to it. The installation process, after you have the basic Skyscape framework program, and the loooong password that you can't change, and the wireless connection that it can never seem to complete, and after you've downloaded the modules, which are LARGE --- After all that, the installation process hangs. Almost all the time. After about ten hours of effort, I've managed to install 4 out of the five programs I've wasted money on. BUT wait! That's not all! IF you get that far, the process of actually accessing all that very desireable information is so lengthy that your patient will have died, retired, or found another doctor long before you can manage to extract any answers.I used to use Skyscape on a pocket PC. It was clunky, but functional enough to keep. When I switched to iPhone, none of my old purchases were credited. When you move to a new house, you have to repurchase your entire library. The texts they stock are important, core resources, but don't be tempted, this suite of programs is much worse than useless.
Need to step it up By: DrDash - Jul 2, 2009 Version: 1.2.5 Skyscape really needs to step it up-- their products are all over the place. Epocrates is MUCH better, especially with their new Over the Counter information, it is the app that I can't live without.
Activation is terrible!!! By: @Gren - Jun 30, 2009 Version: 1.2.5 I would actually rate a zero since it didn't every work! I spent $70 on the Washington Manual only to find it didn't download to my old iPhone and now I can't download it to my new iPhone because I made an attempt with my old phone. I have never had an application from the App Store that is so difficult to use and install. I am not going to buy apps that I have to abandon with my old device, especially when they are expensive! DON'T waste your money!
Finally.. By: pakman_DO_WUHS - Jun 29, 2009 Version: 1.2.5 Its finally out! And I'm glad. great tool for rotations and practice. I've waited long enough! (now how about some more FREE apps for us med students :)
1 year agreement By: Andros Mjollnir - Jun 26, 2009 Version: 1.2.5 Be careful in purchasing. I have been a happy user of Skyscape products for more than a decade, starting back in the days of the HP 200LX and the Apple Newton and continuing through many Palm purchases. Through all those iterations Skyscape was on a purchase model. Purchase a program once, it will run forever. With the roll-out of the iPhone they have switched to a subscription model, which is not clear from their descriptions. Now when you "purchase" a program it will only work for one year, after which you must "purchase" it again. This applies to apps that don't need to be updated, e.g. the upcoming Netter's anatomy. I personally have no interest in supporting them in this model which can only be motivated by unmitigated greed, and am unlikely to buy anyhting until they change this policy. Caveat emptor.
5 Stars! By: Rustybag - Jun 16, 2009 Version: 1.2.5 Best medical app out there! This app comes with 3 free books- rxdrugs is super easy to use- and I can cross reference with the free drug calculator it comes with.
I also got the nursing constellation- which is half the price of what all the paper books would cost me
Plus its this app is free
Great so far By: MEDIC7001 - Jun 14, 2009 Version: 1.2.5 I have to admit the format needs an upgrade for the iPhone but the content is priceless.
More stuff for respiratory By: JennasueCRT2009 - Jun 7, 2009 Version: 1.2.5 I really have enjoyed this app, I would like to see more stuff available for respiratory therapist though. I am new to the field and as a new graduate it would really help out a lot if we had more info like nurses do on here for instance, there is an app for their board exam. Why none for ours? Please anyone who reads this support respiratory therapist everywhere, we r the reason u can breath easier!
Not made for the iPhone... By: Procrastin - May 28, 2009 Version: 1.2.5 While the available content is very good, the formatting is awful... The material was made for use on a Palm, and it looks like it. The fonts and naviagtion haven't been changed at all. I wouldn't be surprised if the material was easier to navigate/access on a Palm than on the iPhone. It's so bad that I'm extremely ambivalent about my Skyscape purchase.
Unbound Medicine's apps are muuuuch better designed (too bad their content isn't as expansive as Skyscape's), and they offer quality content (like 5MCC) at a comparable cost.
Please make something that makes use of the advantages of this platform!

Beware of the license agreement By: Judges - May 28, 2009 Version: 1.2.5 While the product itself is relatively OK, the process of activation and registering is cumbersome. You have enter 16 alphanumeric codes to unlock. If you ever reset your iphone, you will have to go back and obtain new codes. Chances are you will not enter the code correctly the first time, then you have to go back online and ask for help. It just does not seem worth it, given their high prices and the headaches you go through to use the product. Other competing products do not have this problem. Disappointing.
Looks too much like a palm app By: z0lo - May 6, 2009 Version: 1.2.5 The content is great but the formatting is a let down...even the font looks the same as the palm version. I wish they had taken their time and really made something that looks like a modern high rez iphone/itouch app.
Wow By: Giglyo4453 - Apr 30, 2009 Version: 1.2.5 I'm a pharm tech and this is an awesome way to study!!!! And it's free
Use it several times a day By: Doc Molly - Apr 29, 2009 Version: 1.2.5 If you are a doctor who likes to have a wealth of information at your fingertips this is a must have. I use it several times a day in the hospital. Not only does the application work smootly and efficiently, Skyscape provides hundreds of medical resources. I have found every resource I need, from Harrison's and ACP PIER to Stedmans Spanish-English Medical dictionary. Highly recommended!
Are you kidding guys? By: Dr. B. Ayoub - Apr 28, 2009 Version: 1.1.3 It is really amazing and useful
Thank you all skyscape guys for your great app for iPhone

Must have for any physician By: TERMEH - Apr 28, 2009 Version: 1.2.5 Fantastic
Titles missing By: JLG-PA - Apr 16, 2009 Version: 1.1.3 Good program. A little slow, but well organized. A couple of conditions I wasn't able to find:Klinefelter's SyndromeMeniere's
Pharmacist By: mediarokr - Apr 14, 2009 Version: 1.0.10 I use Lexi Complete most of the times but Skyscape is extremely user friendly and graphical than Lexi. Know that skyscape as such is not a medical resource. You will have to download other "packages" that go with it. Search for skyscape in iTunes store and you will be surprised how many things show up. It has its own version of Harrison's Practice, DiPiro and Lab Manuals. There are some free resources as well that can be found under "Tools". Overall, extremely helpful app.
No By: Rosita7500 - Apr 12, 2009 Version: 1.1.3 Not good
Worthless By: Sevenminuteabs - Apr 7, 2009 Version: 1.0.10 Save your $$$ rip off
