This is a great game for the kids and mine have really enjoyed it. My only complaint is the pronunciation of a lot of the words is very poor, which sometimes makes it hard for them to spell it!

The concept is good but I found the pronunciation to be terrible - flat and mechanical. In many cases it sounded nothing like the word so that defeated the purpose.

Please fix the recorded volume of the two voices. The words are pronounced so quietly and yet the child's voice giving praise is incredibly loud.

Two of my kids love this app, one is 6 and is just learning to read at the kindergarten level. My 4 y.o. Really likes it too, and it is challenging for him. My other 6 y.o. Is already reading and she thinks it is boring. So, this is a great app for early readers.

it really is a magic game kids will love it, the upgrades are really good .... auto scrolling to next word .... random colours .... fun graphics .... new different rewards for the kids.... any queries to anusen answered thoroughly & very quickly by email .... and to make it special the little daughters voice will encourage kids to keep guessing & learning .... thanks for thinking of kids & all your good ideas....i also bought maths magic....just as good, same decription as above for word magic.... a very happy nan .... ann

My 5 year old loves this game! The instant response keeps her motivated although the contant "awesome" can be irritating! Sometimes the stars don't correspond to the number of rewards my daughter gets and boy does she complains when this happens! The game is easy enough for her to play with on her own.

This app has been perfect in helping my daughter move on from just recognising letters to actually using them to build words. The available options let you tailor it to your child's stage and change it as they get better.It is also great that the developers have made it a Universal app so you don't have to pay twice for the app, ie once on the iPad and once on the iPhone.Great app and thanks!

Colorful and good interface. My soon-to-be 7-year old daughter finds it too easy. My 3-year old son is not quite ready for it. Look like it is more ideal for 4-6 year old kids. It needs a level option like for longer words or multi-letter fill in...etc

Good idea but not the best user interface - hard for kids to advance to next word - why not advance automatically after correct answer?Also, glossy fx on the letters make it hard for children to read. Stars are a nice touch once a few right answers are obtained. Overall good game, just minor UI issues.

Phonetics support added

Thanks for all the support for Word Magic. Starting from 4.0 we are planning on making several enhancements. As a first step, we had added support for phonetics in the preferences. We have retained the old layout as default. In the upcoming versions, we will default it to phonetics. Thanks to Maynee Desandies - our local teacher who had helped us in adding phonetics support for Word Magic.
