Reviews:
Does what it says By: wolverine_94 - Dec 29, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 This saves the hassle of sending yourself a text message, waiting for it to arrive, and clicking on the link. Not sure what all the complaints are about, as I've never had a problem with this app. Thanks!
Doesn't work By: MisterL - Dec 29, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 I couldn't get this one or the free one to work. This app should be simple to add any wi-fi network you use but it's not. I've tried several times and it's only more frustrating than the last attempt. Discussion groups shouldn't be necessary for such a simple concept. I've attempted to add networks from the web and the phone and neither works. I have one of the networks in my profile online and it still tells me I have to add the network, which I've tried repeatedly. I'm just really disappointed from what seemed to be a great concept. What I did find though is that it's great if you're looking for the closest McDonalds with wi-fi.
Doesn't Work By: KidKlassic - Dec 29, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 I honestly dont know what to say. The tittle is pretty explanitory. The app doesn't work. I was in a starbucks in manhattan and it served no purpose. I deleted it right then and there.
Perfect By: All that bet - Dec 29, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 It works perfect for me. No complains whatsoever.
This is a useful tool By: HOLLOWMAN2212 - Dec 28, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 Better then having to enter your login or phone number in all the time u get on a hotspot
Works great for me By: HoxRyan - Dec 28, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 All I wanted was a one touch login at Starbucks and that's exactly what this did for me. Works perfectly every time so far. (P.S. I don't get all the negativity in the reviews.)
Eh... Not so good.... By: The_Greatest - Dec 28, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 It's not as easy to use as the developer claims it is... -_-
Great By: lordwm - Dec 28, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 This app works great for me. I have used it at several Starbucks with me iPhone 3G and have had no problems. Much easier than the AT&T login. AT&T should have provided this app. Great app and worth the 99 cents.
Amazing - once you know how to work it By: Jochen1234 - Dec 28, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 Couldn't get it to work and was surprised by good reviews from other users....so I kept trying....well, make sure you read and follow the instructions on the info page....then it's easy and works great.
Works perfect at my local Barnes and Noble store! By: Dennis Swaney - Dec 28, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 I detest text messaging and the cumbersome way AT&T used it to let me log in to an AT&T hotspot even though I have AT&T Long Distance, AT&T Local, and AT&T iPhone services already. Easy Wi-Fi for AT&T solved the problem. Those who are complaining are obviously not following the setup instructions.
Worked great until the update around 23 Dec By: rftjr - Dec 28, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 Now it works not at all. Reported the problem, let's see what the developer has to say. This problem has been reported on the website as well.
Works great ! By: Srgsx - Dec 28, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 Seamless wi-fi as advertised. Two thumbs up. -)
Doesn't work By: mikepinkerton - Dec 24, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 I walked into a Starbucks and thought I'd give it a try. Opened It up and it said I had to be connected to set it up. However I couldn't connect without setting it up. Catch22. I opened safari and just used the normal setup (with getting texted the link) and that worked. This goes in the trash.
Works like a charm By: Ehsooni - Dec 24, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 I have tested this app all around bay area (northern California) and it hasdefinitely worked great
Makes starbucks wifi usable By: eb996 - Dec 23, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 Only does one thing but it works well. Makes it worthwhile to connect to the Internet at starbucks
Useful By: GizmoGal - Dec 23, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 Useful app - excellent tech support response via forums.
It does not work at all By: Scott Rhodes - Dec 23, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 Tried it twice on new iPhone. It neither connects nor disconnects.
Finally By: Darrin - Dec 21, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 I hate the current way to connect: try, then enter your number, then wait for a text. This is just what I was looking for!
Crap By: BJ king - Dec 21, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 Piece of crap the one time I was in AT&T wifi
Rocks - a Must Have 4 iPhone/at&t By: MOOREGANG - Dec 21, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 I'm on vacation right now and have really put this app to the test. Works awesome!
It just works. By: William Joseph - Dec 17, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 Don't let the low rating because of non-AT&T users and iPod Touch users deter you. Eliminates the messy multistep process of connecting to the ATT network, entering your number, waiting for a text and then clicking on the link. You click on the app and wait a few seconds (normally 5 or so) and you are connected. AT&T's method would usually take a while because you would have to load their webpage over EDGE or 3G. Worth the money if you are near a AT&T hotspot.
