Reviews:
Simple, Works, Saves Time By: gimmeanickname - Jun 27, 2009 Version: 3.0 It works at my ATT starbucks sites. Really saves time from the silly method of SMS.Bad reviews just want more features - rate it on what it does and it does it well.
Awesome! By: EvenStephen2000 - Jun 24, 2009 Version: 3.0 Works, as advertised, instantly. No more typing anything! GREAT bang for the buck!
I stand corrected... By: iTunes11204 - Jun 24, 2009 Version: 3.0 Having to type in your AT&T telephone number every time you go into Starbucks or McDonald's and wait for a FREE text message a minute later is simply the BEST because you can then buy a cup of coffee or a Happy Meal with that $2.99 (plus tax) you just saved by not downloading this hyped-up and money making application.Have a nice day, suckers...
Works like a charm By: Koshe - Jun 23, 2009 Version: 3.0 Saves all the steps that are usually required. To those complaining about iPod Touch: READ THE DESCRIPTION. It doesn't work on iPod Touch because the free wifi that ATT offers is only for iPhones. It validates you by way of your phone number, which iPods don't have. In case you are confused, read the description again.
Works perfectly. By: ((ardent)) - Jun 22, 2009 Version: 3.0 Since you guys solved this obvious feature for Apple, could you work on a cut-and-paste app too? Haha!
Simplifies AT&T WiFi hookup By: treborg_66 - Jun 21, 2009 Version: 3.0 Tried it today for the first time while waiting in line at a Starbucks. Got me hooked up to AT&T wireless much faster & simpler than the original web browser/text message route.
I love this app By: cougarfan75 - Jun 21, 2009 Version: 3.0 This is probably the most useful app I have. It saves me two or three extra steps when I log in at Starbucks. I click the app and it links up for me. Very simple, yet powerful app!!!
If you go and use starbucks wifi By: moz - Jun 21, 2009 Version: 3.0 Saves time, worth every penny.
Thanks! By: Cjc343 - Jun 21, 2009 Version: 3.0 Loved this app. It has saved me minutes of time. iPhone 3.0 fixes everything. Upgrading is seriously recommended.
AT&T should have made this easy! By: wolfiemac - Jun 21, 2009 Version: 3.0 Awesome app, thank you. Shame on AT&T for not making this easy.
Awesome By: martino13 - Jun 21, 2009 Version: 3.0 Incredible time saver. A must-have app.
works great By: iSeven - Jun 20, 2009 Version: 3.0 thank you! I hate having to wait for a text message just to get online. thanks!!
Works every time By: Hilldin - Jun 20, 2009 Version: 3.0 Tried it in 5 diferent places. Works every time with no problems.
Tricky set-up but worked like a champ By: sumocat666 - Jun 19, 2009 Version: 3.0 Set-up took a few tries and, at least in my case, had to be done through an already active wifi connection. But afterwards, the connection process was as simple as advertised. Just launched the app and I was connected to my local Starbucks' hotspot.
Lifesaver! By: Lee B. - Jun 19, 2009 Version: 3.0 This app is fantastic. Instead of the insane hassle of connecting to an AT&T hotspot, going into Safari to bring up the login page, entering your credentials, THEN waiting for a text message *and* clicking on a link in it, you can just joing the network and click on this beauty. Makes logging on at Starbucks or Barnes & Noble a snap.
Works great! By: Armeniandave - Jun 19, 2009 Version: 3.0 It has worked no problem for me. Simple to use.
Wonderful! By: VannyInsanity - Jun 19, 2009 Version: 3.0 I never bothered with the whole SMS thing it was so annoying. This is perfect, connects me in a flash!
AWESOME APP By: technointern - Jun 19, 2009 Version: 3.0 works exactly like it is supposed to - much easier than the whole SMS text code, enter, etc.
Was great. Now not necessary. By: JHW3 - Jun 19, 2009 Version: 3.0 With 3.0 update, this app is not needed. iPhone will connect to attwifi automatically.
did not work By: mobilemavy - Jun 18, 2009 Version: 3.0 I could not get this to work one time. Only after logging onto the site thru att would it even acknowledge the wifi. I finally deleted it today.
Useful, could improve. By: Jeffbray - Jun 18, 2009 Version: 3.0 The app works very well, from what I've seen so far.I would like to see a button within the app that lets me enable wifi on my phone, because it's annoying to keep it enabled.I also would like to see a better integration of the "Find Hotspots" functionality. It's not even worth including it if all it is is a link. It makes it seem like the developer just wanted to get the app out sooner by leaving it underdeveloped. It's definitely worth the cost (free), but could add a few more simple, at least already developed, functions.
