Reviews:
Works exactly as promised... By: M Power - Dec 3, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 Great interface and ease of use make this a great app that simplifies my surfing the web while I sip my java @ Starbucks. Note to iPod touch users: this won't work for you since it requires an AT&T phone #, get a clue and read the requirements first before you post negative reviews...
Works well By: FRAGgleROX - Dec 3, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 Makes connecting to att wifi easy.
Loaded but errors out when trying to register. By: smoked_2na - Dec 3, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 Interface looks good but the only step is to enter your phone number which throws an error box [ 301 ] telling you there was a failure in the registration process. Maybe if they get the registration fixed I might be able to actually try it out, until then, one (1) star!
Didn't work By: Tossik - Dec 3, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 Couldn't save number gives me an error
Very slick! By: CoffeeFiend - Dec 3, 2008 Version: 2.1.3 Waiting for the at&t text message to arrive was the longest 20-30 seconds of my day. This app works just as described, excellent.
Easy Wifi for AT&T "It does exactly what it says!" By: App Reviewer 007 - Dec 3, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 I have been using Easy Wi-Fi for months this newest version made for the AT&T is perfect! It a one click login! However, there is a “two-step” process the first time you log in to any “New AT&T hotspot” first you must use the built in wifi application through the settings on your iPhone. Select the AT&T hotspot then return to Wi-Fi for AT&T and click log in and your logged on! No SMS alerts, no waiting its just one click and your surfing for free with AT&T.Lastly, you'll have to set up the Wi-Fi for AT&T app on your iPhone buy just entering in your mobile telephone number once... set it and forget it!
Easy Wi-fi By: Frankgone - Dec 3, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 It's the best and you need it! get it, 100% great!
Server errors By: Khanivore - Dec 3, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 Will not allow initial setup. Keep getting server errors.
Won't load to my iPod Touch By: csnvinny - Dec 3, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 Downloaded it successfully but it won't sync to my ipod touch. Weird.... All my other apps sync perfectly.
To karizma23 By: WHOWHAT?? - Dec 2, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 Apple does not allow developers to add features like that to apps, so there is no way for this developer to add the feature the you are suggesting (wifi toggle).Great app, makes a simple process more efficient. Nice work.
Does what it says By: iHateBologna - Dec 2, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 Just like any good utility, this one does what it says.
Minus one star for kicking you out to safari with just about every button, which is kind of unintuitive.
Interface is clean except the phone number's not formatted - a minor polish detail.
Handy, but I have a feature request. By: karizma23 - Dec 2, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 This application works as advertised - definitely handy and a whole lot easier to connect to AT&T Hotspots. The price is right too!
I have one feature request for the developer: Can you please add a button/toggle within the application to turn the iPhone's WiFi receiver on/off? This would save users some time as it would avoid the additional step of needing to go into Settings to turn WiFi on or off. That would be super-cool.
Thanks!
Worked for me By: zergworld - Dec 2, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 Selected the attwifi network when prompted and then launched this app. I was on the network within a few seconds. Cool.
Awkward user interface By: Login incorrect - Dec 2, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 Even though the application manages to log into the attwifi network, the process is fairly convoluted:
• need to connect to the network from the system preferences first (the application should require a persistent network connection and cause the wifi selection dialog to show when started)
• pressing pretty much anything in the application will open Safari (and therefore close the app) - how is Safari supposed to load before the app has logged me in?
Great app By: ramp rat - Dec 1, 2008 Version: 2.1.1 Does exactly what it says it does. Connects quick, no logging in and waiting for text to connect.
