Deleted By: Platinym - Sep 27, 2009 Version: 3.0 No longer needed now that Apple includes this function in their software. It works behind the scenes with no configuration needed.
It was a good app when I needed it before Apple's updated software.
Thanks!
Time waster! Needs update, badly! By: iMikeMinotaur - Sep 19, 2009 Version: 3.0 This app sort of works on my 3Gs at McD's. It likes to show the login progress screen, yet very rarely does progress actually occur. Instead, it'll hang and/or show an error message. It used to work 80% of the time. As of the last few weeks or so; 10% success rate. I get connected faster via the sign-in, wait for the text, tap on the link method... Thus making this app 90% useless. This is unacceptable. Please fix this ASAP.
Right on By: qwalsius - Sep 12, 2009 Version: 3.0 This is such a time saver. I used to get frustrated because I would be amidst checking email and the wifi took over without login set so it wouldn't allow me to send out email. The other problem was I would have to go into settings especially if there was a cellular provider nearby. This gets rid of all that hassle. Heard about it on the Nosilla cast at podfeet.com well worth the money for all you who frequent starbucks.
Does not work for me By: shawnfb - Sep 5, 2009 Version: 3.0 My expeience on my 3g32 gb
Walk into a wifi starbucks
Tap the application, the app does not recognize a wifi signal.
I go to my native preferences wifi and see that AT&T wifi is present
I then select it from my preferences panel and I am hooked up.
I go back to the easy wifi app and of course it is already connected so now the app sees it. This experience happens 99 percennt of the time.
I don't know why I still have the app on my phone.
Outstanding! Transparent access By: shultquist - Aug 31, 2009 Version: 3.0 I installed it, configured it while on my home network, and it just worked today while I was in a Starbucks. Excellent, simple, and effective.
It is not working in McDonald's By: sony_vaio - Aug 22, 2009 Version: 3.0 This app stopped to work for 2 days!
Does what's advertised By: GonetoSleep - Aug 22, 2009 Version: 3.0 People should actually READ the info provided before complaining. This app is for the iPhone only. At&t had recently. Made their wifi hotspots available to iPhone users with an At&t plan. To connect, you would need a valid At&t phone number. Duh. That's something an iPod Touch does not come with.
Free, fast, easy, and it works! By: mrngoitall - Aug 21, 2009 Version: 3.0 Just tried it at a Barnes and Noble last night. Works like a charm after just running the application! You just need to connect to the attwifi network, run the app, and go about your ways on Safari! No more typing in a phone number and waiting for a text message!
Useless for me By: SturmB - Aug 16, 2009 Version: 3.0 I originally downloaded this app believing it to be a general Wi-Fi hotspot finder. It was only later that I realized it's only for connecting to AT&T's own SPECIAL Wi-Fi hotspots. This means the app is useless to me, since I live in a geographical region where AT&T has decided NOT to install it's Wi-Fi hotspots. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the iPhone/iPod Touch OS 3.0 that was released a month or two ago did away with the need for the cumbersome SMS logging in. If so, then this app is DOUBLY useless to me.However, I have given it a mediocre rating because I'm sure that it is needed in more populated areas where AT&T has decided people prefer to have their special Wi-Fi hotspots available. Also, I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who, for whatever reason, choose not to upgrade their device to OS 3.0, in which case this app will make it easy for them to connect to those special hotspots. Oh, and it's free.
Great app By: Zaninif - Aug 9, 2009 Version: 3.0 Worked as advertised.
Thank you By: J in SC - Aug 8, 2009 Version: 3.0 Works as advertised. Easy to use.
By: Buck615 - Aug 3, 2009 Version: 3.0 I love it. Makes my life easier. No more getting a text message then a website log in and then use safari. Just open this application and sign in and continue with my life.
Great app!! By: Gmoney2330 - Aug 2, 2009 Version: 3.0 No better way to get online. The manual process is so tedious, and this makes it as simple as pressing the app icon
Works 20% of the time By: Jepauco - Jul 28, 2009 Version: 3.0 For an app with one simple function, it's surprising how often this doesn't work the first time. Two times out of five I have to exit and re-launch the app before it correctly logs me in. Pretty poor performance!
Very helpful By: hello511 - Jul 19, 2009 Version: 3.0 Thank you!
Excellent App By: ghendar - Jul 18, 2009 Version: 3.0 I was tired of the logon dance and got this app. It works great and saves me the hassle.
As an added bonus, since I only ever got spam and logon links via SMS I was able to call ATT support and have them block SMS altogether but I can still logon to Wifi at Starbucks with this app and now I have no more junk messages to bug me.
Tested at Starbucks, works perfectly By: codeflux - Jul 16, 2009 Version: 3.0 Connect to network, login with this app, and you're on the Internet.
Great app By: W.peace - Jul 14, 2009 Version: 3.0 Been having problem logging onto Starbucks wi-fi, but with this app I got on with no trouble. Get while it free.
Worth the 99 pennies! By: kd6ftr - Jul 13, 2009 Version: 3.0 This made using my iPhone @ Starbucks worthwhile. No more entering/waiting for an SMS message/clicking on a link. This app is great. The best $.99 I've spent on the app store yet.
Works flawlessly By: apathyduck - Jul 12, 2009 Version: 3.0 This app works just as advertised and has saved me so much time and frustration. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it always has me connected in just a few seconds. Worth the price and would definitely buy again and recommend to anyone who wants free wifi with the iphone at ATT hotspots.
Works as advertised By: BronxBomber22 - Jul 11, 2009 Version: 3.0 No problems here. Lots easier than AT&T's process.
