Great app. Especially when you computer 'feeds' a large TV screen, working with a mouse quickly becomes uncomfortable. Controlling VLC from the comfort of your sofa (and palm) is just great. OK, my app, too, gets sometimes stuck in horizontal mode until I re-start the iPhone. Pls fix in the next version. But I won’t deduct a star for that.

boş beleş bir program,aman dikkat, sadece bilgisayardaki filmi kablolu ıpone ile kumanda ediyorsunuz.vlc kullanıyorum pc de diye satın aldım fakat sadece kablolu kumanda almışım, kullanması da bir karşık hadi neyse,

Hi! Habe VLC Remote problemlos mit dem iPod Touch verwendet.Jetzt habe ich ein iPhone 3GS und leider stürzt das Programm kurz nach dem Start ständig ab. Ich kann damit leider gar nichts mehr machen...Weiß jemand woran das liegen könnte?

No consigo que funcione, he seguido los pasos de configuración en mi Mac y consigo que abra la peli en el Ipod Touch pero solo el sonido, sin imagen. No tengo ni idea que he hecho mal y cómo corregirlo. ¿Alguien puede ayudarme?. Gracias. Cuando consiga que funcione le daré 5 estrellas pues me parece una app. muy práctica para ver pelis desde el sofá. Salud

I use this to control my HTPC, and combined with airmouse, has allowed me to not use my keyboard and mouse at all! I am not sure why some people are having problems,but i've never had any problems with this, or VLC Streamer. It works well for me, and let's me browse the files very easily.I guess having the ability to sort the files by things like date, etc would be good (the default is alphabetical) so if your collection of files gets large, it may be difficult to identify new files. Nonetheless, this is one of my favourite apps on my iphone.

Ottima applicazione usata con soddisfazione sul vecchio pc ma da quando sono passato a Mac, in ben 2 portatili non riesco a farla girare. Ho installato il vlc setup che restituisce un messaggio di corretta configurazione ma, lanciando l'applicazione da iPhone, mi dice che non ha trovato vlc aperto sul Mac e invece lo è. Ho provato a disattivare i firewall sia sul router che sui Mac, come consigliato nella risoluzione dei problemi, ma non cambia niente. Per favore illuminatemi perchè è un vero peccato non poterlo usare.
