It took the first few days to learn the application, but once I entered my typicle foods, it was a piece of cake (sorry for that one). The weight loss tracker is great but the nutrient tracker is even better. It even accounts for calories burned through workouts. Greatness!

I have only using this program for one week... It's amazing to see how many calories I was taking in. I have lost 6 pound in one week. I'm taking in 1200 calories a day as the program say’s. It’s amazing… I know the weight coming off will slow down and I’m ready for that.

This helps keep one cognizant of personal variables affecting caloric intake. Food lists are very generic and not 100% nutritionally accurate. (A brand list is included but not helpful for me, since most foods I eat aren't included.) When entering custom nutrition info, one needs to be able to enter decimal numbers (1.5, 3.5, etc.) this is very important, e.g. if tracking fat intake for fertility reasons, etc. All in all, wonderful app for the price!

To those of you who don't like the app. I wonder if anything can make you happy? Listen it is FREE!! It is fabulous!! and most importantly it WORKS. I have been using the app for about 8 weeks not and I have lost over 11 pounds. Incredible. It is so easy to use. BUT, it does take some discipline to faithfully enter in the foods you consume. IMHO, there is no easier way to track and LOSE WEIGHT (if you stay under the limit of specified calories). I am steadily losing weight. Be patient with yourself. You did not put the weight on overnight and it will not ALL come off overnight but it will come off faster than you think..That said in addition to this app, the best thing I have done is get a good scale. A Dr. scale with the sliding weights.. The other scales I have used for the last 20 years are the floor scales that give you a different weight every time you stand on it. So get LOSE IT and get a good scale and you are on your way to better health. Thanks for a great FREE App.. Love it..

I use this app every meals and snack taken in. It's so useful app. It's very handy since I keep iPhone in my pocket all the time. You don't have to be around your computer and login like other diet programs. AND IT'S FREE!! This time I feel my diet goal will be reached with this app. Once create your own food item, it's easy to add and manage your daily food. You want to lose it? You should have this app!!!

Progress Update... Just wanted to post that after 18 weeks, I have lost 45 pounds - by eating smart and exercising less. All tracked with help of Lose it!Updating Review for v1.1 release... Finally a calorie eaten/burned app for the iPhone that does what I need -- to quickly allow me to keep track of my daily intake and burn. In the four weeks that I have worked with this, I have seen my weight drop 12 pounds. With a busy life, I had previously been unable to reliably keep track of my diet and exercise which would lead to my weight going up and down. Now I feel confident that it can continue its downward trend.Thoughts for improvement:1. (Added in v1.1) The weight data entry needs at least one decimal place.2. (Added in v1.1) Ability to track non-caloric information, i.e. sodium intake. The database includes much of this info.3. (Added in v1.1) Reports - graphs of weight progress, BMI, etc.4. Ability to enter reps for exercise. I don't do sit-ups in 5 minute increments.Otherwise a great app, and a satisfied customer. Will gladly pay for future upgrade.
Need to expand the database of supermarket foods.

O.K. I have had it 3 weeks(this review is updated regularly), lost almost 10 pounds and take it everywhere. It is my life line now. I find myself eating less, and exercising more. The only change I would make is to expand the base of supermarket foods. Some things are not in it I would have thought would be. But hey, I am sure it will be in the future and you can always add it. GREAT app. I can DO this. I eat snacks sometimes but pay for for them with exercise and still lost weight. I have learned so much about how, where, and what I eat! Wish their website had places for users to post their stories.

Great app! Easy to use. I'm from Mexico so most of the food is not in the database. To enter a typical food you have to make a kind of recipe. Have you consider make a database of Mexican food?

The best most useful app I have downloaded. I would pay 10 dollars for this app. I use it everday and it is soooo convienient. Has everything you would need to loose weight safe and effectivly. I love this app 100%, great job!

I have lost some serious weight using this program to track my calorie intake. It seems to be very accurate with all the info in the database. Only issue is PLEASE GIVE US AN UPDATE!! The database is old and some of the foods are not located on the app. I can manually add them myself but its getting a little annoying. Great app and idea just need updates to keep it going strong!Oh BTW...I have lost about 25 pounds in a month and a 1/2 excersising and eating proper. I started early Feb at 250 and weighed in this morning at 226.

I really like this app, but I think the selection of food needs to be bigger!!! Example Hispanic dishes... Tortillas, refried beans, fried green platain, carne asada and I can't think of n e thing else right now, but I think it's really neat how it works n like it :-)

Love this FREE application. My only suggestion would be to add the ability to enter details on custom foods (protein, nutrients, etc.) to fully utilize the nutrient feature.

With this app I am able to keep track of my day to day progressa nd my long term goals. Along with this program and increasing my cardio I have lost over 45lbs in 3 months and I am still dropping. This app is the best one on itunes.
