Too frustrating

The basic game is one of my favorites but there is no way to properly plan out the paths since you can see only the next piece. Other versions allow a much better look at future pieces. Without that, the game is almost unplayable especially when the same pieces pop up multiple times and other pieces just don't show. I am also a little suspicious of all these positive reviews. Did they actaully play the game?

There are better free games out there but it's still pretty fun. Question: What's the different between the free one and the one you pay for? I didn't see anything different about the two in the description.
