This icon doesn't update unless opened!! Glad I figured that out before I missed an important event. Sometimes days go by before I remember to open it.

I used this app to help remind me to contact a world-famous musician that had offered me free tickets to a $75 concert that I couldn't afford. If I mentioned his name, there is NO doubt you would know who he is. I thought I was setting an alarm to remind me a week before the show to email him to remind him to guest list me, and again the day of the show.That was a week ago. NOTHING HAPPENED."Calendar", an app that came free with my iTouch, is highly supeiror. It displays your event, and sounds an alarm. There is NO possible way you could forget.For people that need an app like this, whether it's for an event far off in the future, or just very important, Days Until is USELESS. I don't need a fancy background, I need something that WORKS.Use Calendar, it's great, it's already installed on your iPhone or iPod Touch, and it won't let you down.THANKS A LOT, DAYS UNTIL! YOU RUINED A ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME CHANCE FOR ME TO MEET ONE OF MY IDOLS.

This app is great! I use it for (ex.) Last day of school; when the local pool opens; birthdays; holidays; and more But seriously-skip weekends? Then it would give a false countdown number. If you have to add that, make it an option. PLEASE. Because most of us want a real countdown.   stars!

Before I tried out this application, I thought it was a useless application. I thought it was meant for tracking down just one event like days to election day which anyone could figure out without requiring an application. Then I tried it out and now it has become part of my life. I loaded it with anniversaries and holidays and birthdays and appintments and future plans and I daily watch the countdown of all these as they come to pass one by one. I know how many days are remaining before renewal of licences and passports. It's just a wonderful application. I like the way the colored fonts are imprinted on the images. I disagree with those who suggest that the countdown excludes weekends because it would give a false countdown to events. But if the developer can introduce skipping weekends as an option then I have no problem with that. Those who wish to skip can then use the option. My only suggestion to the developers is that they should now work on ways of improving the quality of the images. The current images are not as clear and attractive as the original images. I have another similar application not half as good as this one except that it has super quality images. If they can do it, then you too can do it.

Please make it so you can skip the weekends because there's always events like the last day of school for example where you have to count all days including weekends even when you just want to count the school days.

Caution to all those who download this. The screenshot DOES NOT SHOW THE ADVERTISEMENT. It is placed at the top where the title "Days Until" is located. This is really bad placement because my fingers do hit it on occasion. I don't mind you having to get $$ for a free app, but please move it to the bottom so it is not so intrusive to the interface. Otherwise the app works great.

This app is really cool and it's great for counting down the days until schools out! Only problem area: can't resuze text. It gets huge for no reason and it's really hard to get it back. Good work nevertheless!

This app isn't bad! I've never used any other count down apps, but I'm satisfied with this one. I especially like that they've added the "days remaining number" to the outside of the app so I can see it without opening the app. I'll def continue using it.
