Don't understand these five star reviews. Search doesn't work well, plenty of breeds missing. Dhould be more images too. Hopefully with a good update it will be what it should be.

Wonderful information. The text size needs to be adjustable; it's very small at this time. Also love to be able to zoom the photos more to see detail since this is how so many people identify dogs. Otherwise, love the app and a must for dog-lovers.

This is my first review, so it might seem a bit jumbled! I thought the app was very good, because I have always loved dogs, and it's just amazing how much info is on there! I also thought that the pictures were cute, great for your wallpaper. Check out the Parson Russell Terrier! AWW!!!

Search Bar?

What happened to the search bar? There used t be a keywork search and it worked great. Now it's gone and this app went from a 5 star to a 1 star.*UPDATE...Now that the search bar is back, I give this app 5 stars once again. Excellent reference. Only gripe I have is that some descriptions only provide measurement in cm and kgs not inches and lbs.

This app is SO awesome, I work in a small 1 Veterinarian Animal Hospital, so there is time to actually interact with our babies owners. They are just tickled pink when I pull out my iPod Touch and let them read all about thier breed. I absolutely adore this app!!! I've been looking and BOUGHT 3 vet tech apps today and WOW is all I can say... They do not even compare to this one. So like I said... 5 Starz!!!!!!!!!!!***Would recommend to any and all DoggieLovers.

They did a good job giving dog descriptions, breed standards, and history. It was a quick and easy way to look at dog breeds.However, they included every dog breed out there. Even very rare breeds that haven't been around for long. It would be nice to have the option to find dog breeds based on categories (AKC, UKC, show groupings, country of origin, etc).They also included "designer" dogs which aren't breeds at all, just popular mutts that have no breed standard. If the dog hasn't been around long enough to have a definite standard then it shouldn't even be classified as a dog breed.

My daughter always used to lug around a big book with all the dog breeds in. This is brilliant...loads more breeds and I've always got it on me. No more bored moments :-)

I think this is a great app there is only one search though I kinda wished you could search by size coat lenght or temperment.

This application is brilliant. It has detailed information on many breeds of dog, even ones I have never heard of. I love the fact that you don't need to be connected to WiFi to get all the information, it's all stored in the application. An added bonus is that it's easy to use. The one fault I have found is that the pictures are very small. I would give it five stars if the pictures were bigger, and there was more of a gallery feature to it, rather than just one picture per breed.
