Pros: blocks bad stuff on the webCons: NO FULLSCREEN BROWSING CANT GET RID OF TOOLBARS on TOP AND BOTTOM OF SCREEN. Thank you.

This is a great control to put on my son's Ipod so that he would not be tempted to look at obscene material on the internet. Pornography is so easily accessed through the internet that Mobicip is a great accountability partner to keep children and adults away from sites that they don't need to be watching. I would highly recommend Mobicip to all parents who have teenagers. The support team has been really good in helping me setup Mobicip on my child's Ipod.Thanks MobicipRob

This is a very valuable app and its well supported and maintained. I have been using it myself and recommending to parents in my congregation for a while and so far I have only good things to say. The browsing speed is sometimes fast and sometimes slow but always reliable. It used to be a tad slow to come up (improved in OS4) and scrolling down pages is bumpy. Overall an inexpensive and clean option to protect the itouch web.

This app is a complete scam, and the developers are crooks. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!It clearly lists all of the features in the description above and the is no mention at this time for premium features. However once you install it you quickly realize that to get 80% of the features you have to fork out another $10 on top of the $5 they just charged you. It's called a bait and switch and it's criminal. Like going to buy a car for $20k only to be told that if you want the doors, engine, seats and pretty much everything else you have to pay another $40k. Ohhh and this is after you've paid and ya no refund. This is why people pirate. This is why Cydia exists and why I spent a few minutes getting Installus on my iPad. I wanted this app and wanted to pay for it because it got decent reviews. Apparently everyone else here doesn't mind getting ripped off. THE APP STORE NEEDS A REFUND POLICY!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

I have had this app since its first release and it has gotten so much better...its faster than Safari and blocks unwanted content promptly. Overall, I am very satisfied with it...I feel better that my son can browse the internet without getting exposed to adult content.

The browser is reaaaaaly slow....ok no problem. BUT!!!!!! If you can't take safari out you can still access anything with it

My dad put this on my iPod touch 3rd gen, and it is nice, but it is still very frustrating. I am a dedicated airsoft and paintball player and mobicip will not let me go to some websites like airsplat.com, but it will let me go to airsoftgi.com. Even though there is nothing wrong with airsplat. How does it decide what to block? Mobicip also can't turn to landscape mode after you start typing, and I don't browse the web sideways. Also, I can't open links from mail in mobicip. I have to copy and paste it. Is the open link thing apple made only integrate mail and safari? Or can it be integrated with mobicip as well.Other things:»Crashes constantly. Not the go to your home screen crashing, but it sometimes makes me surf the web while in the new tab screen. And it will overlap screens sometimes. (glitchey)Then I have to restart my iPod.»Sometimes will randomly bring up the image save, copy, screen even when there is no pic on the screen and when I'm not touching the iPod.»Either the stop loading/reload button is too small, or it doesn't let me stop loading when it is loading a page. Sorta useless of a button.Mobicip is ok but it has a lot of annoying problems.Btw I typed this on my iPod.

My son found this app and bugged me to get it. He seems pretty happy to have Internet on his ipod. I am happy that there is an option that works for the two of us. Email the developers for support. They are prompt and answer your questions.

When we got this my parents wanted me to use this instead of safari. However my the site I created (which I like to visit) just appears as a bunch of jumbled up words. My site appears just how it should on safari, and so I say this is no better than safari. It's design hurts my eyes. On the positive side when I use this app " Which is not that much because it's slow and never does anything" it works as a browser but is not worth the money for blocking sites. I would suggest this for teenagers though. If it was faster and easer to use and had a design more like safari I would use it. It labels my device as an iPhone while it's an iPad and MY REVIEW WAS POSTED A MONTH AGO FOR THE SAME VERSION BUT IT WON'T SHOW UP!!

It blocks every website that ur child might ever go on! (even radio Disney). They are all blocked. This app is over protective and will make you child feel dumb when they're friends get on something they can't! 0 stars

I love this app. It allows my kids to access the web while blocking questionable or inappropriate sites. It gives me peace of mind and it gives them the freedom that they want.

This is a very useful app for parents like me. I was able to block out sites I wanted to block and allow some that are ok.My son thinks it browser could be more like Safari with the titlebar hidden. But otherwise it seems to work fine.

We use this to monitor three different iphones & ipods in the family. It takes a little bit of effort to setup all under one account. Once setup, the web interface is very easy. The browser is fast and is a good replacement for Safari but can be better.
